This is slighty OT, but is anyone else unreasonably annoyed by the squished pictures on Allura? It drives me nuts looking at that site.

On another note, I think I might get Legendary instead of the BP. Love Goddess for sure, and possibly one of the other reds. Nothing else is calling to me. I have a slot booked on launch day, but I may order LG online, just in case.

Yes! I really hate those close up swatches. They make my eyes hurt! By the way, I saw her at IMATS LA this past June and she was so rude to people, including a young 13/14 year old at the Inglot booth. I was so turned off by her attitude that I just stopped being a regular on her site. I've only looked when someone posts a link on here.

Ugh, I called my store to confirm my preorder I did 2 days ago and they say they can't find it now! Grrr I'm going to go bananas! I guess it's stalking the site with the Specktrettes now.

Omg this is my fear! I called on Monday and put the items I want on hold, but you know how phone things go... Sometimes they're in the middle of something when they talk to you and by the time they're done with whatever they were doing, they forget to pull your items. Or sometimes they pull the wrong ones. I'm planning on calling the store ASAP tomorrow to confirm that they're holding my items for me and that they will keep them aside until I can get there after work. If they mess up and I drive there for nothing, I will be too thru!!!

So sorry that your store blew it! Maybe try calling again in the AM to talk to someone else? Maybe the person you talked to just wasn't the brightest crayon in the box and didn't know where to look for it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that either they find your pre-order or that you have no problem getting the things you want from the site!

im with you on this. what i dont get is why in the world when i spoke to a cs rep yesterday i was told the launch date is thursday sept. 27th yet just a few hours ago earlier when i spoke to a cs rep and asked again, they say they have no definite time frame for the release. im so pissed off about it. its poor customer service as far as im concerned. the majority of people who use mac know its came/coming out so what the hell is the big deal in giving a specific launch date?

I agree, plus it's not like they're announcing it to the whole world if they tell the handful of people calling or so when it's going be released. I know word could spread, but I feel like the people that really really care are stalking this collection. I'm starting to get really angry with this collection - and it's makeup! haha

I feel the same way. I tried doing a live chat and they gave me the whole "we're not sure, but we're anticipating it will be soon" song and dance. I'm really frustrated with the way MAC has been handling the recent LE releases

omg u guys I have been reading comments for weeks. I finally had to join becuz I'm soooo anxious to get these items. I want DA x2 ( q1 for my momma ), CIS and LG lipsticks , the BP, and one of the eyeshadows. Nordstrom, Macy's and MAC store by me all said no pre orders. they only were making appointments where I have to buy 50 bucks worth( no problem but what if it sells out?!?!!?)
