MAC for Marilyn

I'm wearing Charmed, I'm Sure today, because you guys suggested it. I'm wearing it over Cherry lipliner and I love it!. I don't like to wear lipliner on it's own and I always liked the colour of Cherry, but when I put a lipstick on top it gets a different colour because of the lipstick. Charmed, I'm Sure is an exact match to Cherry! I'm so happy to have Cherry in lipstick form and I'm glad I got a BU yesterday. Tomorrow I'll wear Love Goddess and then I've worn all the red Marilyn lipsticks this week:)

Oh, crap! I just received a black envelope from Mac. It had two items, a mascara and the BP. The Compact is broken

. There's a crack that goes from the edge of the lid to the rim of the mirrow, and continues along the rim almost 50 % of the lenght.

I already mailed Mac about this. Do they compensate this kind of things? I have always received my items in black boxes so I have not had any problems until now.

That's interesting about the BP ingredients. I was telling my Chanel SA about it & she wanted to know what the ingredients were. I said it has magic ingredients

After I bought so many of them, I thought oh no, what if it breaks my skin out. Thank goodness my skin loves it.
She also told me that from the Chanel counter they could hear some anger going on at the MAC counter over the MM collection

Everyone is raving about the BP, I'm almost starting to feel the skipper's remorse (which is ironic b/c I bought 2 BP for CP, so it's not like I couldn't get a hold of it)!

At least I got a few items from this collection, so I'm all good hehe.

I'm not from Brooklyn but my husband was born and raised, and is very loyal to Brooklyn. We have a home there. I was there permanently about nine years ago. Now it's back & forth.

I once got a broken mineralize eyeshadow from MAC. I immediately snapped a pic of it and e-mailed it to MAC. They quickly sent me another...w/ free shipping.

I would call the Mac's Canada customer service number. I randomly called today because I had skipped Pure Zen, and then decided I had wanted it. Sure enough they had PZ, Scarlet Ibis and Deeply Adorned in stock. Along with both blushes, glosses, and some others. The rep said they had gotten a shipment in today. It won't be available online, over the phone only. Iv'e gotten tons of products this way. I never go based on the site anymore, I always call. Only thing is there is a flat rate shipping cost of $7.50 for up to 10 items. I called right as they were closing (5pm ET time) So i'd definitely try first thing tomorrow.
Thank you so much chinablaq!!! I had placed an order with Macy's for Scarlet Ibis, and to my dismay it was cancelled. I knew I should've bought Scarlet Ibis when I purchased the other lippies...but then I saw your post and I called right away! They had my Scarlet Ibis in stock!

I can't believe how much I LOVE Showgirl and Preferred Blonde! I'm sooooo glad my sister talked me into to purchasing them.

This is the third time I've worn them and man - I can't get enough of it!

I tried to find a dupe or match of Showgirl in my collex yesterday and came up blank.

None of the blues or grays that I own come close.

I'm so heartbroken yall....I just received an e-mail from Macy's about my Love Goddess that they're supposed to send to me...they're saying it's no longer in stock!

After waiting in line for over 2 hours on launch day, doing the Search & Send process with an very unhappy Mac artist,and then fixing her mistakes she made on my order with Macy's customer service on the phone, this is the result. I'm truly, truly heartbroken over this, since I personally feel like I went through a lot of trouble to get the lipstick, but there's literally nothing else I can do...At least Mac Glamour Daze is coming soon, and there's some lovely lipsticks from that collection that'll probably be more easily accessible.

Thank you for your comments! Luckily I took a pic of the compact and sent it with my message. I wanted to be as convincing as possible because actually the envelope I got already was a free shipment. Mac messed up with my order last week: I received an Extended Play Lipcreme instead of an Extended Play mascara. Since they were going to send me another package I was sneeky enough to add a BP for the free ride

I'm so sorry. It seems like some of the department stores haven't been handling this collection very well. It figures that they tell you now too instead of sooner so it would've been easier to find it. I hope someone here can help.

exactly this... I wish they would've told me sooner, so that I could've had even the slightest chance to get my hands on it somehow :(

I hope after all this you at least get to keep the broken compact and the lipcreme. Good luck with MAC hope they fix the problem. Really an envelope for the compact tho not the smartest move they've made. I can see it for the mascara or a lippie perhaps but not FM.
