i was so excited when i saw this collection when i went to the counter today. and then guess what. they didn't get any sharkskin!

I went to Nordies today and they had this out with Suite Array and Cremesheen. I bought (well I THOUGHT I bought) the two pigments and then when I got home I realized the MA gave me the two glitters instead. Normally I wouldnt be annoyed but this particular counter has given me the wrong items so many gd times before it drives me nuts!!!! I have to go drive 45 minutes tomorrow to return this and then of course they have to throw the stuff out!!! Grr.... I know people make mistakes but I was the only one at the counter and this has happened the last 9 out of 10 times!!!!

After reading how hard shadesticks are to use, im not even going to get sharkskin. And I got golden lemon pigment and platinum pigment and I love both of them- illl order silver fog from pro when i order my hyper real.. Im over it. My excitement for gold fever went from 60 to 0 in under 5 seconds.

I wanted Sharskin for the hype but I don't like shadesticks. They are tough on my skin. I like my dupe though. Victoria's Secret's Very Sexy Little Things - Make Eyes at me in Smolder. Its sooooo soft but it does smudge like a bitch. lol A good shadow over it will seal it.

meh, I don't like shadesticks, they're too dry for me....I have all the p/m out with this collection as well....so this collection was a total skip for me.

Disappointment of the Day - Sharkskin
As soon as I found out the shadestick "Sharkskin" was going to be rereleased in Nordstrom stores with the Gold Fever collectio...AND a Nordstrom was about to open across the street from work, I've been eagerly anticipating picking it up! I've wanted it since it was discontinued.
I went to Nordstrom's today, and they had the entire Gold Fever collection...EXCEPT the sharksin shadestick.
My name's on a waitlist, and I have two on reserve (I got a backup!) but I'm really disappointed.
The only saving grace was a package from Coastal Scents, one from Cheryl's Shiny eyes (yay pigment samples!) and the Beauty Powder from the Emanuel Ungaro collection. But still. I had to rant

Aww sorry to hear that! I would be bummed too. But on a brighter note, you got the Ungaro powder, and I'm pretty sure you're one of a select few who has thus far! I don't think it's gonna be released at most stores until Oct 9!

They have it online on the Nordstrom's website...I always order it there and select the "Pick Up At Store" option so I don't have to pay for shipping. It will show you all the Nordies near you that have it and that you can pick it from near your zip code. Have you tried that yet?

Wow, seriously? I didn't know the release date was that far off. I'm dying for our release parety for Red She Said, which is the 5th. For some reason I thought the Ungaro collection came out on the 25th, like everything else.

I have. The closest Norstrom's to me isn't the one I go to, which is right across from work. It's actually really out of the way to go to the one closest to me, and I hate going downtown. Bad driver + one way streets and parking garage = bad things. I wanted to check out the Nordstrom's across the street from work, which is brand-spaking new, and is like the Mecca of all things non-MAC makeup wise. They have a shu uemura counter in there (a full counter! Sephora here doesn't even sell it) and a bunch of other goodies I dream about. Picking up the makeup's half the excitement.

i dropped by the bay at square one today and gold fever is there. the two shadesticks that were on the display were penny and beige-ing

Yeah I know what you mean...However you do have to pick it up in person..you just pay for it ahead of time online at the Nordies you are going to ..they hold it for you to pick up so it is not sold out by the time you get there...Which is Normally the same day that I buy it online. The online purchase just lets you know before you go if the store even has the item in stock. So you still get to go and have the experience..it's just that particular item is there reserved and waiting for you to pick up.

Thanks guys! I....might get the shadestick. I actually really dont know if I want it. i have beige-ing but it makes my eyes look at crepey and wrinkly LOL....I never use it cuz I have udpp....but I dont have a dark base.
