DreamWorks is really having a bad year, damn. The movie tanked outside the US, and the date release got pushed back 2 or 3 times in the US for different reasons. Despite early promo for this collection (the Buzzfeed article), it still couldn't draw attention and craze like previous collections. It really sucks for MAC because this was a bit of an intro for the funky color revival trend, but they jumped on the bandwagon too late because Instagram famous brands jumped in first for quite a while. It doesn't help that MAC's product quality has been declining along with the yearly price increase. Tldr, everything related to the Trolls tanked.
Despite all that, 60% discount is excellent and a very easy way to get rid of this inventory, so I have to pop up at Macy's and Nordstrom to find the brush and the hairsprays (they are actually good, lol) for my sister. I still want a lot of things from this collection, so I better get them fast.
I wish they could put the same discount for Chris Chang, Star Trek, and Blue Nectar because it's been a slow year for me and MAC. UD got nearly all of my coins this year.

I agree that Mac was a little bit late to the kooky lip colors trend. I feel like if this collection came out a few years ago it would have sold out really fast. I wasn't personally crazy about the colors, but as a 90s kid Trolls is definitely a big name! And it's special packaging. That used to be a winning combination for Mac lol I've never seen Mac do a sale before (not counting CCO items) so I feel like this collection must have really done worse than any of their other not so big selling collections

I jumped on the brush because it just made sense to me. I don't buy a MAC brush otherwise, lol! I saw the colored hairsprays and didn't think to get one. My son loves when I spray color on his hair and I didn't even think of that.
I ordered St. Germain lipglass yesterday to pick up at Bloomies, I'll get it today.

It really did in order to get a 60% discount. I agree on everything you mentioned.
I hope you like St. Germaine lip gloss, it's one of those colors that looks either really good or bad witn no in between. The lipstick was one hell of an experience for me when worn alone, but it's a great mixer shade.The brush is a great deal! I want it too, but ofc it's sold out online except on MAC, so I have to check the stores in person. For brushes, I often go for the cruelty-free option or go a bit cheap, idk why. My little sister sprayed both the pink and blue spray and they were opaque (she has med to dark brown hair) plus it didn't had a strong chemical smell like the ones that are usually in drugstores. For $25 a hairspray each the price was criminal, so she'll be really happy about the discounted price. I might finish buying the glitter pink and purple glosses, the pink lipstick (already have Midnight Troll and a previous version of Sushi Kiss from the All About Orange collection), a backup for Twerkquoise, the brush if I can find it, and maybe the beauty powders.

I know re St Germain gloss, I initially didn't want it because I knew it was one of those colors but took a look on Google and saw some flattering pics on dark skin so decided to pull the trigger. Sushi Kiss I have also, from a CCO and I'm not a fan. I have the pink lipglass from before but almost bought the purple yesterday and just told myself to stop because swatched on my hand they were close and I barely wear the lipglasses with the glitter in them. I just collect, lol. Am I the only idiot that didn't realize this was also on MAC? I think I searched yesterday and didn't find anything and then today because I wanted the reflects teal pigment I did a Google search and MAC's website came up and I was like what?? So I ordered it, lol. Why don't you want to get the brush from MAC?

The collection is now marked down on MAC for the same prices they are at the other retailers!
I've talked myself out of the following items:
Fuchsia Glitter (the size of the particles are a little too big for my personal taste, I prefer smaller and finer particles like the Reflects Glitter)
Reflects Purple Duo (I don't see myself reaching for this shade often so it doesn't make sense to purchase something knowing that I probably won't get much use out of it)
Bubble Butt (I hardly wear lipglasses so it doesn't make sense to purchase two that are so similar in color. And between both colors, I prefer Glitter Grunge so if I do get a lipglass, that's the color I'll get)
Dance Off Pants Off (It's cute but it doesn't blow me away)
That leaves me with Glitter Grunge which I just bought.

Nice! You will love it! I have all but 4 items from this collection now, tbh. The hairsprays were silly and Glowrida and Sushi Kiss would have looked awful on me. Only God knows what I'm going to do with a blue lipstick, but that color is so gorgeous, I'm sure I'll figure out something...maybe an ombre.
I just tried Play It Proper and Saint Germaine this morning. Play It Proper is way more dry than I thought it would be, I actually scrapped one side of it and barely got anything and SG was a total surprise, I like it way better than I thought I would, it also looks great after eating.

I'm definitely a purple girl but I just had to get a lipglass named "Bubble Butt" so I went with that at the time, lmao! The glitter is humongous in Fuchsia Glitter. I swatched Glow Rida again and kind of liked it in the Bloomies lighting, but it could be because I put it over Burberry Fresh Glow primer on my hand! The sales lady had just accosted me, lol. I don't like Sushi Kiss. Tried it once and it's been sitting there since then.
Play It Proper was a big no for me, swatched it too and it was flat and faint. They are so hard in the pan! Like you can get "dead pan" almost instantly. If using my finger was so hard, imagine a brush? LOL. Just picked up my St. Germain.

I'm looking forward to it since the color is so pretty! I've always wanted to try dying my hair blue but I don't think I'm brave enough to go through with it so I didn't even bother looking at the hairsprays, lol. The Glow Rida Beauty Powder was the first thing that caught my eye from this collection but I heard about many people having problems with pigmentation so I decided to pass on it although I do have to admit it's currently sitting in my cart on MAC's website, lol. The blue lipstick seemed to be loved by many from what I've seen so I think you'll definitely get some use out of it.
The name of the lipglass makes me laugh every time, lol. I can just imagine the kind of reaction you get when people ask what you're wearing, lol. As far as the Fuchsia Glitter, I would have gotten it had the particles been smaller because the color is nice. The only thing that stopped me from purchasing Glow Rida is the pigmentation that I've seen of it, however, I'm wondering it if performs better once the top layer is gone. I have so many highlighters already that don't require so much work to get them to show up though, so I don't know if it's worth it.

Thanks for letting us know! I bought Saint Germain lipglass and one of the beauty powders.
When the collection first came out I swatched Play It Proper and Glow Rida. Play it Proper was way better performing, Glow Rida was really hard and I could barely get a swatch and when I did, it just looked meh. I just thought this collection would go on the 30% off sale MAC had before, but this is way better. If I bought Play It Proper for full price I would have probably returned it. There is no other MAC LE packaging item that I ever thought I would actually consider returning.
How do you like St. Germaine?
