However, being the obsessive boy-that-wants-a-piece-of-every-collection that I am, I picked up the Fresh Cut palette. I have to say, this is such a pretty set! I love warm tones already, but a palette of all new shades sealed the deal, I had to have it. The colors are surprisingly unique as well, here's a small run-down.

Floral Inc. - A softly shimmering peachy-pink. I love this color! It's so pretty and soft. It looks very pink in palette, but it applies decidely peachy with a soft pearlized pigments effect. Loves it! (Frost) (upper left)
Bloomcycle - Cultivated pastel pink sheen. Medium opacity, soft Veluxe Pearl texture, but color-wise not my favorite though it's pretty. (Veluxe Pearl) (upper right)
Sun-Shy - Bright golden-shimmered coral. It applies very bright for a lustre, and it has a smooth finish similar to Tempting or Swimming. (Lustre) (middle left)
Part Peony - Vivid warm mid-tone pink. Again, a nice lustre! It applies fairly smoothly (not as well as Sun-Shy though), with a nice coverage, and is of a fairly unique color. (Lustre) (middle right)
Poppy Noir - Charcoal grey/brown with purple and brown pearlized pigments. My favorite! A deep blackened brownish grey with sparklies. A perfect warm crease color that compliments all the other shades, plus it's a unique take on the "black with shimmer" type of color. It applies with a medium coverage and is definitely buildable, though it suffers from the sort of hard feeling Velvet texture like Stylin' from Hello Kitty, as opposed to the softer texture like Beauty Marked. (Velvet) (lower left)
Fresh Cut - Metallic and copperized red-orange. GORGEOUS. It's bright, shimmery, awesome texture. I love it. It's so summery but I can see myself rocking it all year round. (Veluxe Pearl) (lower right)

Hope that helps anyone wondering about it!

I stopped at Macy's to pick up a brush. I was so surprised to see this collection there since I thought it was only at Nordies. I bought the Fresh Cut palette. The pics don't do it justice. I love warm colors as well. I don't have many pinks (they're usually too cool) and I love shimmery colors so this palette was a no brainer. I've only worn the Floral, Inc. and Sun-Shy so far. Love Sun-Shy. The SA accidentally gave me Graphic Gardens. I'm so glad I checked before leaving the store. I must say the colors were so beautiful I was tempted to keep it. I may go back and play with that one as well. But Fresh Cut with all new colors is a fantastic buy!

The hologram case is fabulous! I so wish Mac would do blushes or powders in these pretty limited edition cases. I'm more likely to carry blushes or powders with me rather than eyeshadows.

I went by the MAC counter in Oslo today and was totally not expecting to see GG there. Even the MA was surprised they got it. I never bothered with this collection before but gotta agree with most of you here, the Fresh Cut palette is pretty!

I really want to get the actual Graphic Garden palette but I've heard it's in the CCO's at the moment so I feel to Portsmouth coming on

I really don't think so. Nordies in Vegas sold out of two shipments of them and could not even track one down for me in any other store to order from. I was able to get Fresh Cut though because I pre-ordered by phone. I should have done that with GG palette also.

I really kick myself for not getting the Graphic Garden palette when they were out. I thought for sure that they would be at the CCO someday but I am not sure that they will since they sold like hot cakes.

I am headed to the launch party for Graphic Garden tonight - so excited!!

I plan to pick up both pallettes seeing as I have only just started my makeup/MAC collection(because we all know that it's more of a MAC collection than anything else), so they will be great to start with.

(and yes, that's right, Graphic Garden hasn't been released in Australia yet, tonight is the launch but it still doesn't come out for another week!)

I read it in a thread on there that someone had seen the GG collection along with the HK collection in the Portsmouth CCO.

I don't know what the situation is in America about GG.

Damn! I didn't even think to look at Macy's while I was there as it was a Nordies collection. I will give them a call when they open. Thanks

Any other Macy's I should give a call to anyone?

I gave in and ordered the Shape and Perfect brush set. I was so sick of carrying all kajillion of my full-size brushes whenever I travel. Plus I like the black poppy design of the bag.

I don't know if this has been discussed already, but is it true that the SE brushes aren't as good as the fs brushes because they're mass produced?

they are not as good. personally i prefer drug store brushes (like posh) over mac se ones. i don't think it's just because the whole "machine made" vs "hand made" thing. a lot of the hair they use feel different. ferrules and handles are definitely made of different materials compare to the full sizes

I adore Posh brushes. They are amazing quality with a small price tag. A few Christmases ago I got a blush brush, kabuki brush, eye shadow brush, and foundation brush from them (all full size) for $20. They are so soft and wonderful. It is hard to find them though!

Honestly it's hard to say. I thought first it would be Graphic Garden, beautiful colors and one side is smokey (like highlighter, grey and black) and the other add the perfect touch of color.... or you can go all out with it teal, parrot and purplish colors.

BUT; Fresh cut is just so beautiful too... I mean: damned! why isn't there a beautiful baby pink VP like Bloomcycle in the perm line!?!? and Poppy Noir is a brown black version of what you would have dream Beauty mark to be. oh and theres no bad color in any of the palettes.

I think I can't choose right now... I'm honestly trying to not get a b/u of both

yeah I know crazy cause I don't know if I'll be able.

I just don't understand why they don't do such amazing palettes in holiday collections let's say?
This year looks quite promizing that said.
