Because of the promo pic I passed on this at first but i am so glad I was able to get it when they restocked it. I probably wouldn't wear it alone (according to hubby it looks like charcoal) but on top of a red or pink lipstick it gives a beautiful sultry finish.

I received my Grey Friday lippie and BB powder this evening. Grey Friday looks amazing when swatched. I haven't tried it on my lips because they are dry. I am hoping to wear my GF tomorrow at my work holiday party.

re: dry lips - tell me about it. My lips have finally succumbed to the power of medicated Blistex and have been behaving themselves for the last two days. I wish I could say the same about the other parts of my face. The skin on the lower half of my face is flaking like crazy (I look as though I started growing a wispy beard-moustache combo when the sun hits my face). I think I need to start slathering on that 8-Hour Cream.

Shockingly. I received one of those delivery slips yesterday, so my mom will go to the PO to pick up my package. I'm hoping it's the Lime Crime lippies and not the JC Penney stuff I ordered. I've been waiting for these f'ing lipsticks for over two weeks now. Not right.

I am wearing my GF today and I LOVE IT!!!! I took pics with my cell phone, but for some reason I can't access Specktra to add the pics up through my phone. Also, I hate pictures from my cell. The coloring is always all off base. My beautiful grey lipstick looks brown in the pics. If I have time tonight I will upload from home. So far, no strange looks or comments, but no compliments yet either. Boo on people!

Fingers crossed your LC lippies are waiting for you. I wore Chinchilla yesterday. The description on the website is pretty accurate: Medium grey with lavender undertones. I should add that the lavender undertone is quite strong. It looks like it's sold out on the LC website btw. I suppose they had little stock to begin with and you and kimibos picked up the last ones

I am sure people on the train probably thought I was a zombie, but a pretty made up zombie with great hair. More lol's.

I can't wait to try Chinchilla, BuickMackane. It seems like a pretty funky shade I will like. I will keep you posted.

Ah, that explains it! Was it early in the morning? They were probably still half asleep. I wouldn't be surprised if they got off the train at the wrong stop

My mom picked up my Lime Crime package. FINALLY! I won't be able to get it until Saturday, so once I get it I will let you know how Chinchilla and Poisonberry are.

I have had peeling lips for way too long, but picked up Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm from the Sephora VIB sale and have to say my lips are 90% better. The formula lasts almost an entire day on my lips - even through eating. I do only one reapplication if any. (Not counting the night one after I wash my face.) Once you get over the texture I think it works awesomely. It's really thick thus a bit hard to spread, but I can feel it acting as a barrier b/w my lips and the dry air. No problems applying my lipstick over it so far. I think I read it is waterproof. When I wash my face I have to do work to get it off.

When i went to place a Lime Crime order, Poisonberry was sold out

I ordered Airborne Unicorn (matte medium light purple), Serpentina (dark metallic green), and Mint to Be (matte light mint). I'll either layer the Mint or mix it with other lipsticks, but Serpentina looks like it will be just fine on its own.

Too bad Hollygram Carousel Gloss (sparkly emerald green) wasn't available for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday discount. It and a couple other Holiday glosses (Present - sparkly dark magenta - and Snowsicle - clear with rainbow sparkle) won't be available until Dec. 1

And since LC sends by US postal service, i won't have the package until i return home in a couple weeks, because there's no mail delivery here (gated community).

BUT my MAC Grey Friday should arrive here where i am TOMORROW (along with Prep+Prime Vibrancy Eye), so at least i'll have some excitement to look forward to.

Not surprising it has that name and that effect. It's 100% medical grade lanolin. It's just a repackaging of a nursing mother's nipple balm. When i was nursing i had a pure lanolin balm for my nipples, although i rarely had any problems with the skin drying and cracking.
