I saw in the pics that the shaping/sculpting powders are duos...but the combination you wrote is not the one I use (warm light + Shadester) so if it is correct, I'll probably pass on this and continue to by my refills at Pro store.

I'll keep this in mind when I take a look at these. I keep forgetting which ones are recommended for my skin tone so I've never picked any up.

This is surprising. It doesn't seem like a big collection with so many repromoted products.

I already have Glimmer of Gold eyeshadow quad. I may like one of the other ones and a lipstick and gloss. I need another 208. I had 2 but one of them fell apart and the brush head is now missing so I can't glue it back. I will probably get the new brushes and the shaping/sculpting powder. Maybe it is good that there are so many repromoted products so I don't buy much.

I thought Macnificent Me! was supposed to be the big fall collection? If Haute Dogs is the big one I'm pretty disappointed.
Same, I'm not interested in a single thing from this. I like the mineralize shadows but not in quads (just don't need 4) and have zero interest in the other mineralize products aside from the MSFs, which in this case are also not interesting me

Totally forgot the Macnificent Me collex! My MUA is usually quite well informed - I asked her if Haute Dog would be the big fall collex, she confirmed and added that there're some events planned as well which sounded to me like it really is the big one.

While A Novel Romance seemed huge to me, for example Styleseeker might have contained the same number of items as Haute Dogs. So now it seems logical to me. But I'm still wondering about MM. I would be awesome if it was the holiday collection!
The MUAs at my counter are all very friendly, but not all of them know a lot about upcoming collections. I guess it depends on their position and whether they attend those preview/masterclass events. Lately, there have been a lot of new employees, so it's okay that they don't know everything (not everybody's as obsessed as I am, lol). But the counter manager and the girl who's the second important at the counter are really kind and sometimes drop some leaky info for me.
re: the events: you're living in a big city with a Mac store, aren't you? There are no events here, just Technique courses sometimes. And some minor promotional stuff like free candy on launch day (one can always count me in for that, haha). But no "real" events with models and drinks and stuff, as one can see on blogs.
It's a little weird, summer hasn't really started long ago (at least here in northern germany), and I'm craving for the fall collection already.

Sculpting Powder / Shaping Powder are duos
• Lightsweep - Warm beige with fine pearl / Shadester - Midtone leathery brown
• Soft Focus - Plantain yellow gold / Warm Light - Clean peach
Thank you! The color story one the first page was confusing. Would one of the mods please edit the first post?

I'm pretty sure it will stop some confusion for other members down the line.

Maybe if it is the "big" fall collection, MAC is trying to push the Mineralize lip products and Mineralize eyeshadow quads more?

Honestly, when I shop at my local MAC counters and stores, the permanent Mineralize lip products are usually never looked at by other customers around me. Even the testers are clean and full. I feel like the $6-$7 price difference may turn off customers as well.

Personally, apart from the mineralized blushes, and skin finishes, I never pay attention to them. When I saw this collection and noticed there were no blushes or new skin finishes, I instantly thought, 'eh skip'

I love dogs and love the promo pic but I'm still undecided on the actual collection.....time will tell. I would have loved to see special packaging.
