MAC - Heatherette for MAC Discussion

Re: Heatherette for MAC Discussion

Does anyone know if this is still going to launch online in the UK? I'm guessing that it's been on sale in Selfridges stores for 2 days now.

I'm fed up of waiting.

Yes, it will still be going online on maccosmetics.co.uk next week, probably sometime around 15th-17th, according to all the differing dates we've received!

I understand you, I have waited ages, too...
But I can promise: Waiting will be worth it if you hold it in your hands!

On the advice of a MAC online artist, I've been using "Cranapple" Creamstick liner with "Hollywood Nights," and it works great.
You could probably also try "Magenta" or "Beet" pencils with "Hollywood Nights."Even "Half Red" might work okay.
I am having SOO much fun with "Hollywood Nights" and "Style Minx!"
Looks like I'll be spending the summer in fuchsia!

It's 'officially' supposed to go online on the 16th, but lately they've been putting out collections a day or two early, so it's worth keeping checking.

Nope I STILL don't have it! I called CS and they basically told me I had to wait a little longer. I have no tracking # either.

I must be lost because I should have gotten it last week.

I think I may order Trio 1 (again!) before it sells out and HOPE my other stuff gets here.

Anyways, on to more interesting info, I tried Lollipop Loving today and it barely shows up on me! Too sheer but I still like it.

^^^Acckkk...thats insane! What a bummer for you. If you really want trio 1, I agree that you should go ahead & get it. You could always send one of them back if it ever shows up. That just sound like an awfully long time to wait IMO

^yep, I agree! Fleshpot is the ultimate nude lip with a nice gloss over it. Bonus Beat is very nice. You'll get more of a peachy color with LL

I'm loving Hollywood Nights, it's the perfect bright fuschia on me and will definitely be giving this a try!

Re: Heatherette for MAC Discussion

I exchanged two Heatherette lip items which I didn't like for eye-shadow trio 1, and I can't believe how much I fell in love with it especially with cloudburst! lol.

I love the lip colors so much! I finally got EVERYTHING I wanted, so I'm extremely happy.

Here is Lure Lip Liner, Fleshpot Lipstick, and Sock Hop Lipglass:

and here I am with Heatherette She's Good Lashes on top (bottom lashes are drawn on), with Cranapple Creamstick (Lip) Liner, Hollywood Nights Lipstick, with Viva Glam VI Special Edition and a dab of Snowgirl. I love it!! And I am usually a nude nude lipped boy.

Hollywood Nights is the best fuchsia lipstick I've ever gotten my hands on. And I adore Lollipop Loving as well.

Feels like it taking ages to go up. Can I ask, VIP on the e/s trio 2 - how similar is that colour to pink venus? As it looks quite similar online.

They appear very similar. They both are baby pinks with silver sparkle. However, they apply very different. I can't remember the exact finishes, but Pink Venus applies more sheer and harder to build up more color compared to VIP. Also (again, I can't remember the finishes and I can't be bothered to check, lol) but PV applies like a lustre, alot of fallout, sometimes chunky application, etc. VIP is much more smooth and velvety, and it's easier to get the pearl to show up in my opinion.

I hope that helped!!
