So I'm new, but I've lurked on specktra occasionally for years now :) I finally had to join because I've been obsessed with this collection for the last month, and following this thread since the first post, and really wanted to join in on discussing some swirls with people who are obsessed as I am. Been trying to tell people IRL how excited I am about this collection, and basically get this reaction

My star wonder: lots of swirls and pink, which I LOVE!



swatches on nc-15, the pink, the gold, the plummy pink, and all three swirled together.

Ooo, I love your Eartly. I kinda want another one with more brown too. Then again, they probably wouldn't swatch that differently.

Lol at recognizing my swirls! I wish I had waited and bought everything from the store instead of online because they had an amazing selection! And so many to choose from!

Who you telling!? This is officially the MOST I've spent on any collection!!! I want to swatch everything, but I was just too tired by the time I got home. I want to take a picture first before I mess up my beautiful swirls. My MUA gave me a hug when she saw me today. She knows I've been waiting FOREVER for this collection to hit. And even though I could have saved on tax if I'd ordered online, I wanted to give her the sale. She's always so good to me. Plus, at least I could pick my own swirls this way. Bonus!

I think Star Wonder is the more unique but both are gorgeous. SW could be a blush or highlighter, but LY really more of just a highlighter or all over glow. But, I would decide based on if I thought I would get more wear out of a cooler face product SW or a warmer one LY. (I usually go for the cool tones, but you know what you love best) HTH
We will be wanting pix, and we don't mind if they are cell phone snaps?

Whoa, it is almost a full time job just keeping up with this thread...

I went over to the counter yesterday a few hours before the mall closed and I must have gotten there at a good time because the testers didn't even have the plastic guards taken off yet so I wasn't in danger of any sell outs. I stayed true to my list: Center of the Universe MSF - so gorgeous on NC45 skin. It's super pigmented, just a few quick swipes made me look like I just came from vacation, not laying inside on Tumblr, watching Wimbledon, and catching up on BBC Merlin episodes lol:) it's very bronzy and beautiful and all of the swirls are so pretty in the pan. Supernova blush - it is very bright and I'm not used to bright cheeks, Love Joy is pretty much what I wear exclusively, but Supernova is very pretty and pigmented. My particular blush is mostly pink with a few rings of gold in the center. I tried it on with Center of the Universe and it's a great combo. Stratus blush - I didn't try it on but mine has a pretty even distribution of plum and bronze. It looks very pretty in the pan. Galaxy Rose CS/g - it's my first cremesheen glass and it's very smooth feeling and the color is super wearable for everyday. The pigmentation is nice too.

It's been a long time since my last haul and I went a little crazy on this one! I left work early to head to the counter. Hahaha, the nearer I got to the counter, the more worried and paranoid I became that everything was going to be sold out.. So in the end, I was half jogging and half trying to stop myself from looking like an idiot. Haha. I did get all I wanted but now I'm thinking of going back for Center of the Universe but I'm sure it would have sold out by now. I'm going to stop by the counter near my house (even though that is a tiny counter with so few products) just to try my luck--if not, no worries. I'm happy everything I wanted was still there. I got my grubby hands on

I'm wearing Firesign today. It's amazing! It's usually so difficult for me to wear red but the lustre formula made it simple but there was still tons of color. I'm also wearing Stratus mb. It's so heavy I had to wipe it off with makeup remover since I looked so dark after I swiped my cheeks once with it. Have to use a light hand with this. Topped it with Light Year msf, and it looks great!
I skipped the mes since I knew I'm not going to bother with wetting the brush etc. I do my makeup in my room and since I get ready at 6am, the effort to wet my brush is just too much. I absolutely love this collection!! Love what you girls bought!!

Last up, my LY. Was going to skip this altogether but you guys got to me! ESPECIALLY my damn Skin Twin Shellcat! We were doing SO WELL anti-enabling each other UNTIL she went to the store today! Curses Skin Twin! Curses! LOL I made sure to get a LY with very little gold. The MUA's told me they had been using them all day and the shimmer was close to Soft & Gentle MSF, so I figured I could add my own S&G to my LY if I wanted MORE of the shimmer...



P.S. I also got talked into B2M'ing for Venus thanks to "you know who!" HeeHee Love ya Shellcat!

I'm going to order Earthly (Thanks to PrettyKitty) and MA (Thanks to Shellcat) online and gamble on those swirls... THEN I'M REALLY FINISHED!! I SWEAR!!

I LOVE your Star Wonder!!! Too bad you bought the last one at the counter (I'm happy for you though). I wonder if any other counters still carry Star Wonder so I can get my hands on another one...
