It's not fair. Everybody should be able to get lightscapade at any time.

It's definitely permanent in the UK too, I didn't know it was different in the US (and maybe Canada?). I agree, permanent things should be permanent everywhere.

Lightscapade is isn't on the US site at all. I did see a half a dozen or more at my local counter yesterday tho. I might have to get one sometime soon in case they are not going to be perm here in the US. It's not fair if it's perm just about everywhere else tho.

!!!! So apparently it is perm, you just have to make a phone order instead? Wth MAC, how long did you plan on keeping this a secret?!

I really don't know. I waited a while but he never said anything else, only initiated the satisfaction survey. But if you're wanting a BNIB Lightscapade, can't hurt to call?

This all explains why my local counter had to many in their case. I hope they will continue to carry it so I can get one. HC is doing a number on my budget lol and I still want FS and some of the MES. I appreciate all of those who have looked this up.

NP, I was super curious because I was recently recommended trying it instead of Perfect Topping as a highlighter. I'll have to ask next time I'm at MAC. HC also broke my wallet, so someday!

It is strange that they told Temptalia that it wasn't perm? Perhaps there's some big staff confusion going on.

Thanks for checking, luckily I'm nowhere near hitting pan on mine. I haven't even flattened out the dome! I stressed out about getting a BU, but I have so many other highlighters to use. Good to know it's still around in case I need it.

Maybe it's still in the beginning stages of going perm. They might be taxed with HC and the facility is now making Lightscapades. At least I hope they are making them.

So, is everyone loving the VAE? I talked to my fave MUA and she's setting aside a small sample for me. I really wanted to buy it while it was still in stock, but my skin is pretty sensitive and I need to give it a test run first. Hopefully, I'll love it and it'll still be in stock!

I really don't understand why they would make skincare LE...it's so hard to find great skincare products.

Then they have to wait until the vulcano is active again to produce more VAE.

I'm not completely certain, but I think MAC has one inventory for phone orders and a different one for online orders. I once tried to place an order for some items that were in stock on the Canadian website. I called to make a phone order for those items, but I couldn't get them because they were no longer in stock for phone orders.

A lot of people are saying this. That's why I had to check it out. When I swatched it, it was love.

I knew this would've been bad skipper's remorse so I'm glad I caved.

I've left mechanical exfoliators far behind too. I would have been interested in the mask, though. Is it just me or have facial masks been out of style lately? People don't have the time to sit around and luxuriate with one?

I finally swatched and took pictures of my MES this morning. There was overcast yesterday, and it's partly cloudy today. So I tried taking pictures whenever the sun popped out. I have to go through them to see if the pictures are any good. On the bright side, I accidentally learned that my camera phone has the ability to zoom. Of course, I discovered it *after* I finished taking all of the pictures.

After swatching everything, I'm not sure how I feel about Sky. It doesn't have the same sheen as the others when swatched on my arm. I'm also not sure it's a color I would reach for often, so I would probably want it in a formula that's easier for me to use like a Veluxe Pearl. I look like a little girl who found her mother's makeup after I applied Sky to my eyes. It's all over the place. I think I'd prefer to have Universal Appeal instead of Sky.

Richelle, what do you think of Light Year? I skipped it because I only got the gold sheen to appear on me. Am I missing anything special?

I kinda like it due to the gold sheen but I don't think I would recommend it to someone in our skin tone range. Unless that's what they are looking for.
