MAC Heavenly creature discussion

I'm hopefully going to shave it down more, but I think this is all I'm going to get:

Pleasureseeker - Creamy peach (Glaze) (repromote)
Cut a Caper - Mid-tone peachy pink (Lustre) (repromote)
Venus - Sheer yellow pink with pearlized pigments (Lustre)
Cusp of Dawn - Beige pink (Lustre)

Light Year - Peachy pink with gold shimmer
Star Wonder - Plumy pink with multi-dimensional pearlized pigments
Center of the Universe - Coral with gold shimmer

The only lipstick I'm unsure about is Fire Sign. I don't know how I feel about a red-pink. I've owned a few in that range before and I didn't really like them. Sometimes when the color fades away it just looks like I have kool-aid lips

but maybe the MAC formula will be different, of course. We'll see!
I'm still a little unsure about Star Wonder, but giving it the benefit of the doubt and including it in my list for budgeting purposes lol

I'm not even going to look at the mineralize blushes because the 3 I have don't really get much love - Hang Loose, Band of Roses and Subtle Breeze. I do use Subtle Breeze a lot, but not enough to justify purchasing more to make SB get lost in the shuffle.
MES are really not my favorite, either... so I can easily skip those.
Oh and the cremesheen glasses, the price always scares me, and the formula feels too slippery on my lips. I skipped out on the ones in Reel Sexy, and the last one I purchased was Narcissus, which I LOVE and I deal with the slippery lips, but csg in general, mehhh.

I've never tried CSGs, but I really dislike MAC's regular lipglasses! I usually wear Chanel glossimers or one of the l/g from Marcel Wanders 2 as I don't find them tacky and sticky at all!

i really want to try that glitter glue actually! it seems to get really good reviews but i have never seen it in stores

I got it in sephora and I have been using it for MES since then. I wouldnt change it. do u want me to send u a sample with ur lipgloss if I find a jar?

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue is amazing! Love using them for pigments! Never thought about using it with the MES. Will have to remember that.

have u tried glitter glue by two faced? is the one i use to MES all other will hurt me. im suuuper densitive i cant wear regular contacts so.... hmmm...

I might try that... I've given away most of my MES though... LOL

I use TF GG with my MES and Pigments TOO!! I have sang it's praises MANY times... But I'll gladly join in again! It works great with these products!

Try at least one. They are very pretty, slippery and light to medium coverage-depending on the color. For the price though they are not my favorite!

^agreed. You should definitely try CSG if you haven't already. They are not the same texture as regular MAC gloss at all! I love the feel of them, probably my favorite gloss texture, even more than Glossimers!

I know this is a little of topic but I noticed some ppl mentioned lipglosses and their dislike for Mac's (I keep buying them but I can't stand them!!!) The kissable lip colors on the other hand were awesome, they felt like little pillows on your lips hehe... they YSL Glossy stains are exactly the same IMO They feel and wear identical to the kissable lip colours and they have a pointed tip applicator which is amazing for the cupids bow

Coincidentally, I'm trying to work through some MAC lipglasses before I buy any more glosses haha. I think by the time the next VIB sale comes around, I'll have finished some of my lipglasses up!

Coincidentally, I'm trying to work through some MAC lipglasses before I buy any more glosses haha. I think by the time the next VIB sale comes around, I'll have finished some of my lipglasses up!

be sure to try then hun, also the Rouge Volupte by YSL are my fav lipstick formula in the whole world so so so creamy!! you only need like 1 or 2 as the line is limited (here in aus they are $55 each) but the two I have are by far my fave lippies

they really did! i wish i had more of them to be honest! but i will check out these glossy stains from ysl if they are very similar

I think that's part of my hangup! They're about $30 here in the states and it's tough narrowing down which one I want, because I don't want a slew of YSL lippies. I will definitely check them out eventually, though!

I'm sooo intrigued by Venus lipstick. Yellow pink with pearls??? Where are the swatches!?

Off topic: how long does it take to finish a lipglass? I've almost used only two lipglasses from october 'til now but I've not even reached a half... maybe I've used only a third of product!

I've been trying to figure this out. I can only tell with cremesheen glasses, but my estimate is about 100 full applications all over my lips, with about one and a half charges on the applicator per application. I do usually wipe off my applicator with a tissue afterwards too, so make it 2 charges/application. I'd say I have medium sized lips, too, just for reference.

thanks.. so since in a lipglass there is more product I should use it every single day for about 4 months XD... maybe 5!
I'm trying to finish Emancipation lipglass (glitter & ice edition) and Honeylove lipstick, but it's a matte and it's not easy at all to finish a matte lipstick.. I took it with my first back to Mac last year!

back on topic I'm afraid I'll want a lot of lip stuff from this collection ^^

I so wish I could wear MSFs and blushes - some of the colours are gorgeous. I've only attempted one (natural) and it gave me wicked cystic acne. I wear the mineralize concealer without any problem at all. Does anyone know what's in the powder products that could cause that kind of reaction?

I will look forward to swatches and your hauls, but I can't go there.
