I know you'd like to see more MSFs but I'm hoping we will get a break from them. I'm trying to pack for a weekend trip (driving) and I can't decide which MSF(s) to take. I'm going through my stash and I didn't realize I had so many. In fact, I saw the Glitter & Ice beauty powders and I completely forgot I bought them. Yikes!

Trying to pick a blush is hard too. I got a blemish on the area next to my eye a few days ago and my whole eye swelled up. Not a good look. So I haven't worn any eye makeup for a few days. Needless to say, I haven't been able to play with my new goodies. It has cleared up so tonight I must start packing and deciding what makeup to take. I made the mistake of putting on Stratus blush. I haven't really worn this yet. Thought it would be best for fall. I did try it with a fall EL GWP lipstick I got and it looked great together but I thought Stratus gave me a sunkissed look. Love it. But now I wonder if I need to back this one up. I really need to be done with this collection.

That would really jack up my morning if I dropped one.

That would mean another trip to the Galleria and 150.00 later, I have another Earthly PLUS more...

Obviously, I'll try to salvage what I can...but since I'm probably going to want another Earthly, I might as well throw Light Year in the cart, as well....RIGHT?!?!

To those fair skin gals worried about Earthshine, it is workable with a very, very light hand (even less than a MB goes a long way!)
Hopefully the difference can be seen with the difference in lighting, and with the iphone pics! Today was much warmer so my skin got red and splotchy lol, hence the discoloration below my chin, eek.
Anyway, these are two pics taken on different days, the first one is without a contour, the second one is with a contour just under the cheekbones, near my ear.

Earthshine is so subtle but in a good way. I like Earthshine because it doesn't get orange like some bronzers can get on me, and it buffed out really well. While the $1 ELF brush I bought isn't the best brush by any means, it did a pretty good job of only picking up a small amount of product.. I patted Earthshine on, then buffed it out the lines with smidge of translucent powder on a kabuki brush.

Is that a Starbucks apron I see? I worked there for 3 1/2 years! Maybe I'm wrong, but just wondering. Earthshine looks great on you!

Thank you! :) It sure is! I've been there four years. I've been looking for another job for two years, but eh, paying off my Bachelor's loans ain't so bad, plus my tip dollars go to MAC! :flower:
It has been around ten years since I worked there, but to this day I always refer anyone who is job hunting there...you can't beat the benefits, pay, and I loved those early morning shifts 5:30a -2p rocked (until it was like 9:00pm and all my friends were going out :( ). I was a store manager and loved working the bar the most! All in all, I did 7 years of coffee slinging...worked at a ma & pa owned place, too. Good luck on your job search!

You're making me want Earthshine!! Just wondering, in the first pic did you pick up mostly burgundy on your brush? Looks gorgeous on you.

Thank you :) I didn't use a contour in the first pic, I just did blush and MSF. I can't remember specifically which ones they were, but I think It was Fleet Fast with Light Year MSF on top.

The second pic has Pink Cult blush, Whisper of Gilt and Earthshine as a contour under the cheeks. I did a quick swipe of the brush across Earthshine, so there was quite a bit of burgundy!

Today, I wore MA all on the lid. Mixed the two colors and appliedmit dry. On the outer v and under the eye I used the dark color of earthshine. In the inner tear duct area, I used the lighter part of earthshine. I also used a black pencil eyeliner on the top smudged out. And lastely On the cheeks, I wore center of the universe and contoured with earthshine. I loved it.... This look can work for everyday. Definitely recommend you guys to try. Byw, I thought magnetic attraction was similar to expensive pink thats why i almost skipped but, it really is different. So happy I bought it.

Warning: Rant coming on.
Last week I sent 24 empties to Back to Mac UK, because I was not allowed to send in the 30 I had lying around. Literally copy pasted the address given by the person in charge of B2M attn of that person, as I always do before sending it in
I sent it via registered mail (14+ euros) and it does not arrive AGAIN. You read that right, I sent them in 7 or 8 times up until now of which this is the third time they do not receive it. The first two times I sent them in via regular mail. After the second time, when a package of 30 empties never arrived I started sending via registered mail. Copy paste and print the address given, pay 14 + euros and then having to go into the hassle of filling out papers and waiting 1 to 3 months to hopefully find out who signed Friday 20th July at 9.55.

i've been using my MSFs as blushes religiously ever since i got them. i said in my previous post that i wasn't all that impressed with Star Wonder, but now it's become my go to no-brainer blush! it's just a flattering, relatively natural looking pink that gives you a nice sheen under indoor lights. under the sun, having buffed it out a bit more with application, i've found it hasn't been too glittery.

Light Year on the other hand has started to look a bit dull and a little less flattering than it initially was. I don't know whether this is because of the way i've applied it, where i've dipped my brush or the not-so-sunny weather i've been getting where i live. I'm hoping it's the latter!

I tried LY with a bit of SW on top the other day, it was pretty but nothing to write home about. I think i'll continue to wear them separately. If anyone has any suggestions on which blushes to layer with SW or especially LY i'd love to hear em!

I feel like these two MSF cousins will be competing for my attention for months to come.

Thanks everyone! I was worried it wouldn't show up very well, it's very subtle :)

I'm wearing the same combo today! I love it! Such a great summery glow to pair with anything!

I have to return Invincible Light. I hate it so much. It is chunky and makes my eyes burn.

Also here is my sad Earthly that Nordstrom sent me :(
