I got 3 BUs of Star Wonder and Light Year, but I'm almost contemplating a fourth BU for LY! I'm obsessed with it, even more than Lightscapade (though using the two together for one look is awesome, too!). Light Year goes with eeeverythinggggg!

You know I have LY and a backup but I have yet to have used it, I got it cuz I know its beautiful but I think that it might not work with my completion but I'm going to try it this week for sure.

Thank you, you should try it. It's nice to be able to use these products differently. Well to be honest, I didn't buy any lipstick for the collection because I really don't like the finishes I didn't even bother trying them on. But, I have heard a lot of nice things about Venus and the swatches looked nice. I used Honeylove or Innocence beware. Can't remember and in the pics it was worn off. What finish is Venus a lustre?

Venus is a lustre, at first I did not like the lustre because it used to dry out my lips a lot but I decided to still get it and I just use them over my EOS lip balm and problem solved now I love lustre Venus is my go to and Sweetie has been the only lipstick I carry around in my purse since last year.

I honestly don't think LY is a color that can look ashy. Don't fear it girl try it lol. You can always add something on top to make it pop.

Might have to take a look at it this weekend then :bump:. They also tend to finish faster than other finishes right. Not that that's a problem especially for those that have a large collection.

They do actually, Sweetie is the only lipstick I have ever had to purchase multiples off because they do finish faster but as you said it's not a big deal if you have a big collection.

I'm SOOOOOOOO obsessed with Light Year too. I only bought one back up (but I NEVER backup anything) and am contemplating getting a second back up. It's just perfection in a pan. I think I'm heading to the mall on Friday, so if I find a MAC with some in stock, and can hand pick one more, I might just cave if there is a beautiful swirl.

And to comment on the difference swirls make, I almost didn't get CoU because in the store I went to had it had this gigantic orange swirl, and that one just showed up so, so orange on me, so I passed. But I wanted the whole MSF collection, and it kept bugging me so I ended up ordering it, and the one I ordered has a bunch of gold between the swirls, and not much of the darker orange swirl, and it is beautiful!! Shows up like a lighter version of NARS Luster on my cheek.

Ahh those damn swirls get me every time! I love CotU, too, it's so pretty! But a little bit does go a long way on me!

I have used LY once and really like it! I got some new storage for my makeup so that's why I haven't used my HC things so much. Right now my makeup looks like a war scene so I need to organize it first.

Someone mentioned using a really pink Neo Nebula as a blush... So it's not crazy at all! It's a great idea!
MSF's and MB's as eyeshadows, MES's as blushes... whatever fun little muti-tasking ways we can find to love these products more... BRING IT ON!

I am also obsessed with LY! Tried it today as an eyeshadow for the first time! It made me want another! I did use it wet so that the color stood out more. I am a little sad though because my closure on my LY broke...no worries though, it just doesn't snap shut anymore. No swirls were harmed though! I will not be carrying this in my purse anymore. I do have one backup.

I will post next time I wear this look...I won't be able to get any good lighting ( due to log home = horrible lighting and iphone pics) tonight for pics but I am sure I will wear this look again soon.

You know I got this and it just didn't work for me, I think that because I am in FL right now my pores are clogging much more easily and I was breaking out so I got the VAE soon as it came out but it just didn't clean my face good enough so I decided to try Origins modern friction because some one on this thread recommended it and wow! It is amazing, my face feels so clean and no more breakouts! I am saving the VAE for when I am back up north in the cold I think it would work just fine as a daily cleanser I just don't think its strong enough to be a deep exfoliator.

I liked the VAE but i didn't use it as a cleanser. I didn't know it could be used as a cleanser. I just read the website and it does say it can be a foaming cleanser. I was using it after I cleansed my skin.

I looked @ HC e/s AGAIN! @ MAC & Nordies and decided to stick with MA.

Looking at the photos, some of my mes aren't getting enough love.

And my all time favorite for 6 years... Avon super extend mascara. Avon actually makes really good mascaras by the way. Gave a tube to my mom and she said that the ladies at work thought she had lash extensions. Really recommend it.

Magenta, Thanks for the mascara info. I haven't tried any of Avon's mascaras. I've used their l/s in the past but not lately. I just picked up one from MAC @ cco and I love it. Forgot name.

I can't wait for LY to get here. I want to try it with Loverush blush and Lightscapade. I love wearing LS with LR all the time. Gorgeous together.

Backups of backups. How cool is that? I remember someone in another post mentioned that their blushes have blushes and so on. It never ends!

I wonder too how MA would look as a blush? Curious. May give it a try tomorrow while re-organizing my e/s palettes. Sad when you are stuck in the house.

I used Play on Plums mes as blusher. Beautiful.

I won a Neo Nebula MES at a bridal shower on the weekend. My first MES, so much for being done with HC....
