I backed up Astral c/g since I love it so much! I do plan to get Galaxy Rose c/g and Celestial Kiss c/g while they are still online.
I always wish they'd bring the big Mineralize collection out just a tiny bit earlier - the colors are so perfect for fall and the usual shimmer is so perfect for summer - but combined, it's usually an Indian Summer collection that's only at its best for a couple of months. When the days get shorter, individual pieces still work, but the whole color scheme doesn't always. I'd rather have it for the whole darn summer, instead. All of the remaining HC items have been listed in the "goodbyes" section on the US site. I haven't touched most of my HC haul since fall started, but it still makes me a little sad to see them go haha.
I definitely bring my HC stuff out on sunny days, but there are still a few things that just don't work too well - like my beloved Water shadow....just too pastel for my fallsy clothes. Astral is also a little too pastel too. I wear Cusp of Dawn and Venus all the time still, though and Sky and Supernova are nighttime colors anyways. Everything did look a bit better when I had a tan (except Venus, which looks so much better now on me - finally getting use)Since i was camping and car travelling for about 1-1/2 months this summer, i didn't have much call to wear what i got from HC (no lips, but about 3/4 of everything else).
Now i'm in San Diego going through my Mother's stuff. Since i drove down, i brought most of HC with me so i can play with it. It's sunny here and mostly in the high 60s to low or mid 70s during the day, so i think HC will work fine even this time of year. I'm looking forward to seeing how they all work.
Also a Good ideaI do not own MA but I use Neo Nebula as a blush very often.....love it
Which in turn brings me to the idea of whipping those babies out again and start using themI just wanted to say that I fell in love again with Sky mes todayI have recently gotten into doing one colour on the lid then blending that same colour in the crease and just a matte highlight similar to my skintone. This techique works perfect with mes and even a bright one like Sky. The mes have something special that normal shadows don't have and therefore doing just one colour still looks very pretty. I also used Ring of Saturn which needed more love and Earthshine which I still love for bronzing/contour.
Same here....I have not used mine for quite a while either!Which in turn brings me to the idea of whipping those babies out again and start using them
I use Invisible Light pretty much every day. And I fall in love again with Aurora about every other week...
