That's funny, because it's often us teens who apply bright colours and look terrible, and people who are older often wear it better because they have more experience

I just had a flashback. I was at a master class with Greg Arlt of MAC, and behind me was a woman in her 50's/60's who was rocking a fierce dark blue smokey eye with peach lips.

Anyone can rock any look they want if they have the skills to apply it and the confidence to own the look

Just my $.02

Good point. Many people stick with the makeup looks that they started with and never change.

Anyway....I bet I won't be able to get any of the Hello Kitty items. :-( Collections usually sell out quickly at my local counter because it's so busy/tourists. So there's a fat chance there'll be anything left by the time I get round to buying anything, haha. Oh well, ebay it will be!

I turn 30 in a couple of weeks and I am going to ROCK some glitter at my party.

I was really strong and just bought the 168 brush and pigment Old Gold.

Today at home I got my delivery with the Little Darlings and Monogram.
I got Cool Pigments, Pink and Neutral Lips, Enchanting Vermillion Eye Kit and one Sheerspark Pressed Powder and one l/g from Monogram.

I hope to get one pigment and one glitter from Metal Urge - not bad for one week

I will take pics this weekend.

An MAC MA once told a customer that was in the 30-40 range that she should choose things that were less shimmery or glittery because it accentuates your wrinkles and such. Im sure she didnt just pull that out of you know where.
