Me too! We need those and a bright blue one (repromote?) or bright green (repromote?) one. C'mon MAC! More hot colours!

Wow. All I can say is "Wow". I guess after reading 50 + pages of excitement, I was expecting more. I just don't really care for it. I will wait to see more, but it just looks kinda ugly. JMO. Don't throw stones. I might like it later...

Initially, I was like OMG!!! But after the initial reaction, I feel...underwhelmed. I'm not sure what I expected but this isn't it. It's cool that this will be my first big collection since getting into MAC/cosmetics.

I want the brush set, a lippie and a beauty powder. 'Tis all.

I am with you! After all this speculation, I am probably going to get the collection for the pure reason of just having it! I am for sure getting the Dazleglass and the tote. I will wait to see more pictures or everything when it comes out!

IMO, thats the whole point of the Kouture collection. If everyone could afford it, then it wouldn't be anything special, it would just be part of the color collection. There are people who will ALWAYS be able to afford it. Also, I'd be willing to bet that many people who can't afford it will buy it anyways b/c they are HK collectors and they don't want to miss out.

But yes, I'm hoping I can use my Pro discount for the Kouture!! If not, I'll probably just grab a DG from it.

I'm liking the sounds of the beauty powders, pigments (depending on colours) lipstick, Lipglass and Dazzleglass. Not sure of the eyeshadow trio, I don't think I'd wear those colours.

Yes, the price makes it exclusive. But who that has that money would want to spend it on a Hello Kitty compact? The whole appeal of Hello Kitty to me is like, it's really cute and everything... but idk if it is worth ALOT of money. I dunno. The only people I can see shelling out that kind of money just for a compact with Hello Kitty on it are Paris Hilton and Jeffree Star, and they'd probably get it for free anyway.

It just seems like alot of money for little substance.

I hope I hope I hope the dazzleglass is a repromote! Why? Cuz I don't want to spend $28 on it but at the same time I looooove Dazzleglass'!

The girls on MUA are totally dissing this collection!! Someone said its the tacky version of the Chanetcaille's Bengal Tiger collection. Umm, you mean that $117 compact that only gives five percent of the proceeds to the actual Bengal tigers?!?!

Its not tacky, its fun and kitschy!!! At least its not boring and old ladyish!!!! What did they expect from MAC and HK??? That Chantecaille compact has about as much sex appeal as Bea Arthur.

Bunnyx3 - I see what you're saying. The girls on MUA that can afford the Chantecaille don't think this is for them. But I still see the Kouture collection doing very well besides that. I plan to buy a few items even if I can't get my discount and I certainly can't afford Chantecaille.

I think this will be along the same lines, if not bigger than Manish. The difference will be that MAC WILL HAVE TO make way more HK. manish was super limited, thats why we all stayed up/woke up early to get it. Im ALL for another sleepover

nly this time SMMY actually has to be there

I think the packaging is very...MAC. MAC always has that sophisticated black packaging, and they found a way to throw HK into it, but still keep the grown up, sexy, mature black. I really like it

Its funny....it seems like the HK lovers arent really feelin it, and the ones who didnt like HK, are IN LOVE with the collection.

My list:
Well lets just say the only things I know Im not getting is the doll, the brush set, the pigments and glitters, and the compact. Everything else has to wait. because I feel like I want it alllll

OMFG, I LOVE IT!! I personally ADORE THE PACKAGING TO DEATH! Black and Pink are my two favorite colors together, and then adding Hello Kitty into it? Ahhh!!

I want one of everything, but I am going to have to narrow it down, obviously... cuz I ain't rich. But OMG, I am so excited to see pics!!

I haven't been on MUA but I would have to agree, I'm really not feeling the Hello Kitty kitsch. I think it looks tacky, but to each her own. Seems like waaay too much money is going into packaging here, while the products are getting crappier. :/

I agree. Honestly I am fortunate enough to be able to afford the pricey compact but that's not the point really (for me at least). I don't think I will get it because I have seen A LOT of rhinestone special edition HK compact/accessories and they have never ever made me want to spend so much $$$$ on it. HK is cute but not worth soooo much money IMO.
