Come on ladies and gents before everyone is bummed out maybe wait until the entire color collection details are out. I mean how often does MAC disappoint a true addict? I am confident there will be something for everyone even if you are hating on the black packaging which I LOVE!

Black is beautiful, but not on Hello Kitty.

I shall be on the computer on February 12th to purchase some of the Hello Kitty collection!! I changed my mind about the Dame Edna collection. I would so get this one!!!

For a 40yo, makeup artist, design whore, MAC/POP culture addict...this is amazing!! The packaging is very modern, the black HK doll is a great collectors item, conversation piece FMP. I think I'm going to get most of the accessories and collector type pieces. I can't wait to see how the 'color products' look in person.

*sidebar* I remember being dragged to the Staten Island Mall to HK boutique EVERY SATURDAY during my pre-teens. The smell of the candy & plastic made me wanna gauge my eyes out! *sidebar*

I dont know why but I was expecting something different, I dont know what, but not this. I dont feel like i'll buy any of this yet. But, once again, there's still more product to see, right

I'm loving that there's going to be 6 l/s and 6 l/g, but I wish there were e/s pots instead of two palettes...or 1 palette and a few e/s pots. Oh, well...I'll save just a littttle there.

Oh, and does anyone else see a blush in that pic? I read the article twice and didn't see any mention of blushes with the collection, which seemed really odd to me. Maybe I'm just tired.

Nope,it's not you,there is def no mention of a blush.But maybe that's one of the items that they're saying will be mentioned in the next three months?

Cute, but not as cute as I had hoped. Reminds me too much of the Fafi collection. I wanted more of a unique pearly color.

This is really what I expect from a MAC - HK collaboration, and I like it this way. This collection is presented in a way just like Fafi and Barbie.

And yes, you were spot on with the Dazzleglass having a removeable/wearable charm.

As much as I am mocking that doll - I will state for the record that I love the "low end" compact, lipstick and lipglass packaging, from what I can see from the photos. I think it is a great fusion of MAC and HK - taking design sensibilities from both.

I will not get the "Kitty Kouture" compact unless it is abso-freaking-lutely amazing. And comes with a refill.

I don't think any collection could have lived up to the HK Specktra hype of the last several weeks.

I will get the compact if there is a refill and love it after seeing it IRL. I won't rule it out because of its price.
