Hmm, that's a good point. Typically, at what point of the summer does MAC implement new price increases?

Somewhere between June and August; it seems to vary from year to year. I'm buying my stuff in May to avoid the extra bucks.

Yup. I remember when my sister started buying eyeshadows that used to be $13.50 a pop. Now it's $15. Sigh... $20 eyeshadows doesn't seem to be far off into the future. Eeek!

Boy I'm starting to get excited for this collection. What happened? Was it mentioned that Blessedly Rich lipglass was a repromote? I was searching the net for a lipstick from a holiday collection that I had skipped. Well, I found a mention of Blessedly Rich lipglass. I think it was in a set for the 2010 Tartan Tale holiday collection. It looks like it might be the same. Anyone have it and can compare?

I have Blessedly Rich from Tartan Tale, I will try to swatch it tomorrow!

For those that have the 165, how do you like it? I have been planning on getting it and had the PRO store pull it for me because they call me before it launches there. What do you think about this brush?

I think it's a wonderful brush. I usually use it for contouring and highlighting.

RR is such a looovely red. Finally they put out a yellow red! I love the texture too. I think I can wear it w/o a gloss. Normally I have to put some with mattes/satins/etc.

how different is it in color from ruby woo? from ur pics it looks almost identical. i love RW but too damn matter. RR might be my saviour?

RR is slightly brighter and the texture makes a massive difference. I see a big enough difference to justify both. In my mind rr is the summer cousin of rw. From what I can tell we have similar tastes is lipsticks and I think you would adore rr

Ruby Woo is a bit cooler I think and totally matte. Red Racer is a true red in satin finish. It is nowhere near as drying as RW. I loooooooooove RW. I think it is one of the prettiest reds out there. I do not reach for it often because of the dryness. I'm good for a couple of hours, but sooner or later my lips get really dry. But when I wear it it is

. You'll like Red Racer, I'm sure of that.

Here are some comparisons for Sail La Vie and a swatch of To Catch a Sailor.
Top row from left to right To Catch a Sailor, Toxic Tale, Sail La Vie.
Bottom row from left to right Scarlet Ibis, Hibiscus.

The colour of To Catch a Sailor is most like the second picture in real life.
Sail La Vie in real life is most like the first picture.
Scarlet Ibis is redder, Toxic Tale is a lot pinker and Hibiscus is sheerer and pinker, but not as pink as Toxic Tale.
