MAC Hey, Sailor! (Summer 2012) Discussion

My final (sort of) list:
Gotta Have it pile:
- TCAS lippy (love that one on PinkDollFace, and I think this is the most original of the collxn)
- Feeling Fresh e/s (this jumped on my list, it looks gorgeous)
- Jaunty e/s (gotta have it if its like Naked lunch with more yellow tones)
- Fleet Fast p/b
- Crew (this jumped on my list due to comparisons with the Vera face products!)
- Sun Dipped bronzer
- 168
These are now in the maybe pile:
- Sail La Vie lippy (I think I can use an orange liner I have instead & skip this, but I love the lipstick case with the cute stripes)
- Gone Sailing tote (I probably won't get it in time before the dreaded OOS of doom)
- Au Rose suntint (not sure its a need)
- 167SH
- Shore Leave PL l/p (I will probably get it because the PL pencils are long lasting and can double as a full lip application product/very matte lipstick) and Iove the color
- Man Rays body oil (it looks like a fairly unique product)
I wish I could say this is the list I am sticking to, I will probably waffle some more. At least I have the luxury of doing this since we have gobs of swatches before the do or die moment

I didn't buy BR, but I have Pinkular and I'd say they're quite similar imo.

I'm always using a MAC 165. I do think it is discontinued but now and them you can still find them online. Sigma has a similar one too.What brush are you ladies (and gents) using for the bronzers?

The 167SH. I must say that I love it! It is really soft and not too dense. Gives a nice soft application.What brush are you ladies (and gents) using for the bronzers?
I am NC 15 and Nude on Board looks really natural on me. I will receive Sun Dipped and Soft Sand next week but I love NoB...

I have Sun Dipped and i have used two different brushes that i like. I use the 184 if i want a really light application (i'm so glad i got that brush) and i use the 138 for a bit more colour, but even with the 138 it can still be built up easily.What brush are you ladies (and gents) using for the bronzers?

I don't know if i can resist Red Racer much longer. But i've gotten way too many lipsticks lately and i will get Reel Sexy and Heroine this week as well. Need to stop buying lipsticksThank you! It is a lovely red lipstick.

Hope you'll like them. I have worn Heroine a couple of times now. Did you get Butterfly Dream plushglass from the Vera collection? If you think heroine is too much in your face, BD looks really nice on top (got that tip here from one of the lovely specktrettes) or Funtabulous dazzleglass as a second choice perhaps.I don't know if i can resist Red Racer much longer. I've tried both in store today. But my MA said that this would be the last time she can show items before they get released. I understand that, because people can come in and swatch items and then order online and that was exactly what she was afraid of. At least i was able to see these and i love them. I don't think Heroine is too bold and i don't like to layer lipgloss on lipstick, but i still need to get Funtabulous. I probably won't get it anytime soon, but once i finish a couple of lipglosses i'll try to remember to get that one. Butterfly Dream with Heroine does sound nice and if i would have liked layering i might have gotten BD just for that.
