Good, seems like everyone's on the same track with MBs! I have Improvise & like it, but I'm hoping for a less-shimmery MB to come around and steal me away to mineralize blush heaven!

HOPEFULLY MAC will follow suit!

actually, i think this thread is suppose to be for the color collection with individual mineral eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks

the part I thread is about the 1st part of the sets, mostly eyeshadow palettes, releasing in october

and there's supposed to be a part II of the sets, including pigment and lipglass sets, will be released in November. but we haven't got a lot of details about that yet, so there isn't a separate thread for part II

I'm still not a fan of the packaging. It's cute but I was expecting more. I loved what they did with packaging last year and 2007.

i really like the packaging of this years holiday stuff - i wasn't a fan of last years palettes - the big stone thing felt really plasticy. 2007 palettes have been my fave so far - they had alot of weight to them which felt like i had got value for money!

I got an invite to the freestanding store for the preview on the 6th...can anybody tell me what goes on there? And is there a fee or required purchase amount?

The preview parties are for you to enjoy and check out the new collection. You can purchase as much or as little as you want. I have never gone to one where there is a required purchase amount or a fee. Usually the fee is only for master classes or trend shows. Have a great time!

Say what? A MSF face kit? OMG I want details on that. I was hoping to save money not get that much this year. I should make a new years resolution about MAC purchasing. Like if I spend more then $300 on MAC Holiday collection I go on a no buy for 3 months.

Now that I've been officially underwhelmed about the dazzleglass cremesheen I am 500% more excited to get Boy Bait and Ever So Rich.
