Thought I’d share my views as I love reading all of yours.
I am really liking my TT products!
Play it Cool – all of the colours are so beautiful. I manage to get them all on in one go, with Painterly pp, Macroviolet fluidline for liner (my favourite) and a little Black Swan lining the corners. Bite of Apple on cheeks and everything in Dazzle the Lads lip bag. I have had no trouble with pigmentation, I find PIC’s colour payoff very good.
Dashing Lassies – again, all the colours on at once (strategically placed of course), Dip Down Liner, with Lord it Up in the corners. Melba on cheeks and everything from Vain and Glorious Lip bag. Colour pay off just as good as PIC…
Dazzle the lads – I love Draw me close lip liner – it was the main reason I bought the bag - it is a really beautiful neutral that I have worn under Mellow Mood as well. But then wow! I discovered my love for Baron’s Rose…. It looks quite dark in the tube but goes on quite sheer – but not too sheer! I thought it may be a little too dark on me as I’m NW15-20 but no it’s great and from what I’ve read wears really well on darker toned skin as well.
Vain and Glorious – Love it all. Such great staples, how good is it to get a lipstick, liner and gloss all ready to go!! It’s a really girly set for your girly feeling days.
Pearl gliders – Lord it Up (my favourite), Black Swan, Undercurrent and Petrol Blue. These are pretty but I will probably stick to using them to line the outer corners of my eyes only (over the top of fluidlines) I find it hard to get a really thin line with the PG’s mostly cause of their soft, creamy texture. I suspect people using PG’s to fully line on a daily basis will find themselves sharpening and subsequently running low on their pencils fairly quickly.
A Triumphant Blush Kit – Melba is so pretty for brightening up pale skin, I need colour and Melba delivers. I’ve used Smooth Harmony as a shader under Melba but I think I will mix it up with a better contrast to Melba next time, maybe Her own Devices…
My Highland Honey – See above for pale girl needing colour! This is lovely, I was slightly hesitant, not sure if it would suit me but I wanted an orangey colour so gave it a crack. Really glad I did.
Her Bloomin’ Cheek – I had nothing like it so thought why not. It sure is a statement maker and can be pulled off on my pale tones. I took it into my hairline right under my temples and kept my eyes simple.
Glamoura Castle & Golden Crown – Glamoura Castle is nice! It does have a blue tinge and I like that, nice with Satin Taupe. I bought Golden Crown as there is a look on the Mac website combined with Glamoura Castle that I thought looked really pretty, I wanted to give it a go.
My Scottish Fling – Least used of my purchases so far – the Mineralised eyeshadow is a little frosty but pared with sketch and old faithful Macroviolet evens that out. Mostly I just wanted Fresco Rose it’s quite lovely.
The Family Crest & Moonlight Night – I’m pretty useless at working with Pigments but I will persevere.... I’ll probably still be working my way through them in 20 years time. Happy to share if someone wants a sample.
I also got A Lady and Her Tricks brush set. How good is the bullet brush, if you only own one Mac makeup brush this should be it.
I’ve never wrote so much on here! But wanted to give back as I’m often reading up on all your great posts for inspiration.
Cheers.
