Hi everyone, I stopped by MAC in Nordstrom this evening and edited my pre-order. I thought of the eyeshadows I initially pre-ordered last week and decided to cut down from my initial list after seeing the price increase with the decrease of the size. Anyway, I swatched four (out of the five total) lipsticks, all five Lipglasses, two (of the three total) Fluidlines and seven (out of the eight total) Extra Dimension eye shadows. I realized after I walked out of Nordstrom that didn't get to swatch everything in each section -- sorry in advance!

For reference, I am NC 30 in MAC!

Nonetheless, I wanted to have a reason to play with my new iPhone 5 camera so here are the swatches. Hope this helps some of you!


Lipsticks (from left to right; Glamourdaze not swatched): Outragously Fun, Innocence, Beauty and Dramatic Encounter


Fluidlines (first two; from left to right; Little Black Bow not swatched): Feminine Edge (GORGEOUS!) and Catch My Eye

Why the price increase? I think I might even skip the Small Vanity now, it reminds me of a blush from Illamasqua. The increase and the limited quantities annoy me seriously.

which one? I'm trying to get out of MAC blushes... They don't last on me.

Thank you, TheLadyDanger for the swatches. OMG! Everything is to DIE for. I really love Stolen Moment and Round Midnight. I am going for Ready to Party. Not sure if we have seen swatches of that yet, but I am getting it no matter what. I'm still sticking with only Beauty l/s since it's unique enough. The others are pretty, but... I'm holding out for Jet, Firm Form and all those purple mattenes coming out soon.

Round midnight looks like Rich core.... maybe a bit less red and more plum than rich core but quite similar

Thank you Naynadine for the swatches, the more I see them the more I keep adding to the list I said I was going to limit myself to 3 EDE due to the smaller size but I might end up getting all of them thank goodness is going to be part of my birthday gift if not I don't think my husband would be too happy with me.

I have a question for all of you ladies, I want the ED skinfinish but don't know which will work better for me I a NC44 I have no idea which one to get

I think that Warm Thunder is greyer and a bit more muted than EG.

I totally agree xasperadastra. It looks too similar to Rich Core imo therefore i'm skipping...i've barely even used Rich Core.

Everyones amazing swatches have really helped and my hubby is thankful as well lol. Anytime a new collection comes out he says he feels like Sonic the Hedgehog. When the enemy hits him he loses all of his coins lol.

So I preordered some items yesterday at the NYC Times Square store !

For those who want to know about this specific stores preorder process. You can go to the register & tell them you want to preorder & anyone behind the counter can help you. They will take out the catalog (which has the preorder forms)& will show you the catalog & take your order. They take your info (name, number, address & credit card information) & total you up but they won't charge you until the day of the release. Then that day you can go pick up your order, which is October 25. Please note this process is only for NYC Times Square store as we all know every store is different. My only complaint about this process is that the preorder forms are priced incorrectly (which the MUA I ordered with noticed and quicly fixed it for me). So if you do go there to preorder please double check when they ring you up ! Also, the catalog doesn't have too much info besides the pictures and the prices. The colors for the sets weren't listed & there were no testers !

I caved in and bought a Coral - MAC exclusive gift set (this is what it was called in the Catalog - $70.00) because it looked so pretty !

Honestly I forgot to ask because I was so excited about the collection but judging from the amount of preorder forms they had in the catalog they might get alot. Also, the fact that this is the NYC flagship store and they are constantly busy (they are open till midnight) I think they would have the most stock in NYC.This was also the same store that sold the Marilyn collection the same day as the website launch that I was able to haul from!

So I'm hoping if I have last minute edits I can get them in! LOL!

I need to see Beauty on someone's lips. I probably can't bring myself to skip Outrageously fun even though I could live off bright pinks for life already and probably never run out. Also I think Dramatic Encounter might be similar to Yung Rapunxel which I have but still wannnnnt it /rant
