I'm passing on all the brush sets as they are not really my cup of tea - colorwise, I mean

Mac-Guy, I was a tad put off by the colors too. I got the Mineralize set and would have gotten others were it not for the colors. They just don't fit in with my color scheme...if that makes any sense.

Already down to 10 items (after deciding to skip all the lipglasses/fluidlines/blushes, i hope i won't regret this in the future but i probably will .. ) but i still think my list is too big .. And the prices in Belgium for this collection

Nice haul. I got the Mineralize brush set and was surprised about how much I loved the pouch, of all things!!! It matches the hanging travel bag quite nicely

Same here about the pouch! I am pleased with how spacious it is too.

I know! I really wish I knew the UK prices for all the products so I could budget a bit easier - at the moment I'm guessing! If I had the money then I could EASILY buy another dozen things, but I am trying to be good!

Ok...I have narrowed down my list to Ready to Party edes, Dramatic Encounter l/s and Talk Softly to Me l/g. How is the texture of RTP...is it patchy like T says. What about DE. Would it be too dark for nw20? Are there any dupes for Talk softly to me?

I better make up my mind quick. I see that DE is sold out at Nordstroms.
NC20 here.. DE is really pretty.. Its more of a wine color. Here it is on my lip paired with Vino lip liner and clear gloss in the center. Applied with a brush to sheer it out in the center of the lip. Note that it does look darker in person. i cant get it to photograph darker! I also had a little bleeding issues but I had lotion applied all over my face (already took off my makeup) so thats probably why.

Trying so hard to sit out this collection. That lippie is beautiful on you.

I was out running errands today and stopped by a nearby Macy's counter to swatch Satin Taupe next to Stolen Moment. I know someone else already posted comparison pics, but I was still curious to do it anyway. On me, they're very different. Satin Taupe is more of a brown taupe and Stolen Moment is more of a gray-purple taupe. I definitely need to get Satin Taupe and I love Stolen Moment.

Ignore the last swatch. It's just the Cremesheen+Pearl Pure Zen that I swatched to compare to the Marilyn Pure Zen. The colors were slightly different on my hand, but nothing significant. You can tell it's still the same color.

Are they stealing for themselves or to sell to another customer? I can't believe the risk you would take to get caught and get fired.

Who knows where the stolen product is ending up for sure. Ebay, themselves or others. Chanel products/property can go for a pretty penny on the market. I guess they are grabbing the really really limited edition items. Some are employees from other depts. in the store other than those who actually work in the Chanel dept. I know that the store I buy from & heard this, they have their eyes on a person or 2.

Satin Taupe - Stolen Moment - Pure Zen

Speaking of Pure Zen, can someone tell me if it has the same kind of sheen that High Tea has?? I want a lippie with the exact beautiful sheen and formula as HT, but in a more pinky nude shade. I have a couple of Lustre lippies, but none has that great formula as HT.

Yes. Probably the 211 if you're lining with it. I think I'll try the 242 (if that's correct...numbers have faded off) which is what I use for applying PPs.

I did see those Feminie Edge pictures and they also give me hope. I only plan to use it as a liner. I've been using the 211. I'm not sure if there's a thicker brush to use.

My WOG drama... I already said how I called yesterday at 10:30 to my Mac counter and asked them to hold a WOG. They said they are not allowed to hold limited edition items (first time they've ever said this). They had 4 and by the time I got there around 4:30, they were gone. I asked the SA if they had any at this other particular store and he said, "No, but you can order one from the Macy's website! but you either have to spend $50 or pay shipping. By the way when I went in there he was sitting on his @$$ Doing a crossword puzzle. I had to approach him to get help. This is the same SA that said he would call me before Styleseeker came out to take an order. Well, he never called! When Marilyn came around, he did call but I was already ticked at him for not calling me before, so I didn't preorder...and I blame him for not getting any Marilyn goodies. I thought I could just get them from the website, but that was a poor plan! I'm over it though! Anyways, HoneyonBoost is to thank for my getting WOG! She offered to find me one, which put some fire under my butt! I thought I am just going to call that store that the SA said didn't have any because it is close to my mom's house, and I am going to visit her tomorrow. Low and behold...they had one left this morning! I paid for it over the phone, and am picking it up tomorrow. Thank you, thank you, thank you to HoneyonBoost and all of you kind Specktrettes that look out for each other! This is an awesome place that I am happy to be a part of! No thanks to crappy MAC SA! Not sure what I want to do about him at this point... Now I just hope my goody is really there when I go get it, and not like MACNurse's missing goodies :shock: What the heck MAC?

Just saying.....while separating my back ups etc I just noticed that Mac 'special' packaging is the same exact glossy material as my Victoria Secret Lipglosses bought over a year ago. They were $12 full price but I am pretty sure that I bought them at discounted prices during a semi annual sale. VS glosses are also very good formula wise.

I had preordered all my stuff almost two weeks ago I actually paid for all of it at that time, well I worked 3 12hr shifts so I couldn't go pick it up until last night. When the MUA went and got my bag she pulled out the lippies and I asked her so where are the powders? I had purchased WoG and Superb, she went crazy looking for them someone had went into my already paid for items and took both of them. I was soooooo angry I'm sure she could see it on my face [/COLOR] [COLOR=800080]I was trying so hard to not get super crazy because the MUA is really nice and I have been getting stuff and my makeup done from her for a long while now, she was super scared and upset looking for my stuff she even called her manager and all the manager said was give her a refund and that really got me upset I preordered to make sure that I got my stuff and it not be sold out what's the point in that if my items are going to be taken after I paid for it. The MUA called all the MAC counters around the area and lucky enough she found one about ten minutes from that mall that had both of the items. I took my stuff and drove to the other mall. I am soooo over MAC, and I think that the last 4 collections have been insane and sold out in no time, but then u go on evilbay and see 30 and 40 items being sold by the same person at quadruple the price. I think that after the strength collection I am going to give MAC a big break. I told the MUA I spent almost $300 she should have been more vigilant of my order considering I get tons of stuff from her very often, her response was I normally don't have to because I didn't think something like this could happen I just had a blank stare on my face but never again from that store.[/COLOR]

That is awful! I am so afraid to pre-order. I actually tried to pre-order from Dillard's this time around but the girl I normally buy from wasn't there when I called and the girl I spoke with was supposed to leave a message for her with what I wanted and my phone number to call me back. She sounded annoyed when I asked for my regular MUA and since I never received a call back I am pretty sure she didn't even leave her the message. I prefer to stalk the site than take a chance. Glad you got your stuff in the end!!!

Oh. Dear. Why did you have to say that, Medgal?! I wasn't paying much attention to the brushes because I decided to try to get them later at a CCO. It didn't occur to me that the Mineralize set matches perfectly with the travel bag. I was supposed to be finished with this collection. But now that brush set is calling me. Nooooo!

Tell me, can you fit full size brushes into the pouch?

Skip Mystery. It is gorgeous on my hand but when I wore it yesterday it just looked like a dark liner. I also skipped Glamourdaze (it's hard, trust me) but I am waiting for Hot Chocolate from Apres Chic.

I love feminine edge
It' a little chunky. I used it last night. I put natural flirt on my entire eye. I used FE on my lid... Basically like a paintpot over Natural Flirt. And used a stolen moment in the crease, and blended it out with brule. It was really pretty! Just make sure you do your foundation last because of fallout.
