I'm still considering on the sets releasing on the 8th. This week will probably decide for me. I have eczema and my eyes bother me sometimes. Right now the crushed metals I have are really bothering me but I WANT the purple and green sets. The club-blue/brown one in the green set is calling my name! I'm also considering two of the lipglass sets, but I'd have to smell them ahead of time. My Naturally glosses were all nasty smelling like chemicals and I've been careful ever since.

And I think I've decided I want the green brush set too.

What about topping it with a burgundy leaning lip glass. You know I felt the same way about Oh,Oh,Oh that you feel about Glamourdaze.

Really? I wish I would've wrote down why I didn't like OH OH OH, I didn't get that either. Ok, just pulled up the swatches. And I remember I tried it on and it just didn't do anything for me either. for this, and b/c i have so many lippies that are mlbb, it isn't worth making glamourdaze.

What does everyone think of the quality of the brush sets?

I have the pink & I love it. The brush heads are full & soft & so pretty. You can't beat it for the price.



I cannot scroll very well at all on T's site. Too many ads or something or Firefox doesn't like it.

I'm looking forward to qualifying as a doctor in 18 months because I will be able to buy all the MAC I want! (And because of the helping people thing too )
But I will also be so busy that I'll probably miss out on a ton of LE stuff Sometimes stalking for items is like having a part-time job!

I was out running errands today and stopped by a nearby Macy's counter to swatch Satin Taupe next to Stolen Moment. I know someone else already posted comparison pics, but I was still curious to do it anyway. On me, they're very different. Satin Taupe is more of a brown taupe and Stolen Moment is more of a gray-purple taupe. I definitely need to get Satin Taupe and I love Stolen Moment.

Ignore the last swatch. It's just the Cremesheen+Pearl Pure Zen that I swatched to compare to the Marilyn Pure Zen. The colors were slightly different on my hand, but nothing significant. You can tell it's still the same color.

I bought Oh Oh Oh before I learned that I don't like the Lustre finishes so I almost never wear it. Glamourdaze is another story for me because I didn't have a color like it and I love the Cremesheens. If not for the price hike I would consider a BU.

Welps. Too a break from the forums and now I have to catch up on 400+ posts! Ah well, at least it'll make the drive home more entertaining heh.

Whew, finished reading in less than an hour and a half! Sure helped make the drive home more bearable, LOL.

I spent a few days with my parents and my mom commented on how she really liked the way Glamourdaze looked on me

I was like, duh, I know! I loooooove it, too! She asked if she could try it on and (surprise, surprise) it looked great on her as well! She's much lighter than I am, I would guess a NC15? She wanted to buy one for herself! Normally, if I have a BU of something my mom likes, I'd give it to her, especially she very rarely comments on things like that (and normally when she does, it doesn't suit her). But when it comes to Glamourdaze, I'm feeling very greedy haha. I can't recall the last time I fell in love with a l/s like this. So, I drove around to all the MAC stores/counters in the area and none of them had GD in stock

(Go figure, after I pre-ordered to avoid stalking counters for LE items!) After I get home and am settled in, I'm going to trek out to the counters and see what I can find. I want to find one for her and maybe another BU (or three) for me. If need be, I will just give her my one and only BU (very reluctantly I might add). I think I'll test OF again today, and if I only LIKE it and not LOVE it, I would be willing to offer my BU up for swap bait.

same thing here. i already got my canned fruit and water, it may not be that bad but people are like crazy buying at the supermarket. they are still having the halloween parade at my town so yeah they prob dont give a sugar a the same time. its party time before sandy arrives.

i just want it to be over by thursday, i have a doc appointment. and i have to go even if sandy is here. lets hope not.
