Oh,it was not my birthday....I got these goodies as a Christmas gift!

So, I just got the Lavish Rose l/g set for Christmas
I don't really wear lipgloss like at all, what would I use to apply this on top of my lipstick? I don't want to get my glosses all gross. Can you purchase disposable lip gloss wands from MAC or Sally's or Walgreens or something? Does anyone have a favorite l/g applicator that they'd recommend?
I can't wait to try Boys go Crazy over Seductive Intent, and over Strong Woman once it arrives here! Oh and what lipsticks are you guys using with Color Saturation? It's such a pretty color but I'm not sure if it'd go well with any of the lipsticks I currently own.

I'm still on the fence about Lavish Rose set. The only shade I really want is Boys Go Crazy and I'm not sure if this is enough justification to buy the entire set. Have fun with your purchase!
re: lipglass application - I usually take out a bit of product and put it on the back of my hand. I then apply it with whichever lip brush happens to be lying around. Like you, I don't like getting lipstick colour on the gloss wand.

Boys go Crazy was actually the only one I was really interested in too, but the other colors have all grown on me & it's a good amount of product for a really reasonable price so personally I could justify buying the set for just BGC (er, well I guess I just asked for the set for xmas but I was going to buy it!
). But then again, I'm not really a l/g person so it's not like I already owned any pale pink or peachy or berry colored glosses, they all are really pretty though. Demure and Going Casual might not be super unique, but they do have a lovely shimmer to them & I could see them looking great over a pale pink or peachy nude lipstick; Color Saturation didn't really seem like "my type" of color at first, but I know a lot of people really like it, and I think it would look really good over a lipstick like Rebel or another deep berry color (I don't own Rebel yet or else I'd try it, but now that I'm getting into vampier lips I think I may need to pick it up). Boys Go Crazy is obviously gorgeous.Oh, and Temptalia actually said in her review that the dazzleglasses in the sets contain more product that the regular individual ones (I just looked it up & the individual d/g on the site only contain .06 oz of product while the ones in the set contain .09 oz, so that's awesome) and they're normally $19.50 a piece so you're getting more than your moneys worth with just the 2 dazzleglasses in the set. It's actually a pretty great deal really.

I got the mineralized brush set from my hubby today for Christmas. That and painterly as I'd never had one. I had asked for the full size of 130 & 187 but this saved him a few bucks. I like it tho bc I've got 4 to play w. I know they're not as nice but what has been everyone's experiences w them? Can I use them w creams like the full size? I'm gonna save up for the 2 full sized face ones but these will be nice to have too. Plus they're super cute and the case fits my full sized. I hope everyone had a good Christmas.

It is really a VERY reasonable price.I think that the gloss sets might be the best deal out of the sets.
They are very attractive for me since they include Dazzles and Cremesheens because these are my favorite glosses
+ the good amount of product.
I am glad that MAC does no longer release the sets with the mini (really mini) lipglosses.I got some from Red She Said but never really liked them.
Last year I hauled the pink and the coral set.This year I did only get the Lavish Rose set because I wanted to have more BUs of
BGC,CS and GC.Demure is very pretty too

Wow really i like how the hello kitty collection looks and I love hello kitty.i did check out the cb and might pick up some stuff.Definitely check it it out then! I was able to find a Hello Kitty Tippy blush there about two weeks ago and it was BNIB for a very reasonable price! I got it already this week and tried it and it's love! I'm so happy because I missed the Hello Kitty collection and from the clearance bin I was able to get the three things I wanted most Tippy blush, Fashion Mews l/s and the Too Dolly quad. I need to do a look with all three together

Those were sooo tiny! I got the pink and coral sets from A Tartan Tale, and while I did like them, I much prefer the new gloss sets with Dazzleglass and Cremesheen formulas because even though they are in small tubes, they have more product in them.

I use Small Vanity at least 4 or 5 times a week, and I am a blush h00r, I am almost constantly switching around. Such a great color and I love layering with other products too. It is the perfect natural flush for me.

I got myself the Lavish Rose set especially for Boys Go Crazy, which i can wear with any of the enormous number of violet, plum, and purple lipsticks i have (and there's always room for more). I wasn't sure what i'd wear Color Saturation with - but now that i have Strong Woman, i'll try it with SW and other berry, plum, and purple lipsticks i have.
I haven't been as fastidious as you about lipgloss wands, but i think i'll go looking for some "disposable" ones, since they can be used multiple times if cleaned after each color.
