On me, Raven reads like a reddish burgundy brown, a few shades darker than mid-tone, but nowhere near black. It's one of my all-time favorite eye liners - great for green eyes and making any brown or red family neutral shadows really pop. I bought mine in the days before I'd back things up, so I'm thrilled it's coming back at last!

Okay, as long as it definitely has a reddish hue to it, it'll make me happy. I really loved Smoked Ruby e/s from the Semi-Precious collection, so if it looks anything like that, I think Raven and I will get along just fine. Thanks for the response!!

How sweet would a black eyeliner (like UD perversion) with red flecks be?!? Not really holiday...
That's what I was picturing for Raven! Just really fine red flecks that catch the light and have that WOW effect, you know? Holiday or not, it would certainly make me merry...

If you love twisted movies like Heathers, then my favorite dark comedies of all time, with really sick endings are 1. U-turn with Shaun Penn and a small bit part by Billy Bob Thornton that is HI-larious.  Then, number 2. on the list is probably Heathers, then number 3. would be War of the Roses with Danny Devito, Micheal Douglas and Kathleen Turner.  I guess I am a sicko, but I love dark comedy.  I love the Lost Boys too, and yeah it was refreshing to get the dark humor in there with the vampires.  Death by Stereo!  Best.line.ever... I have never seen Jawbreaker, but if it is in the same vein, I will take a look for it.  Okay, okay, I know, totally OFF TOPIC, so back to our regularly scheduled programming here:  Guess since all the MM lippies sold out, I may consider getting some lippies from GD.  The purples are back on the list, since they have decent (not lustre) pigmentation I believe, of course we have to wait for swatches.  The pink fluidline would be great under Young Venus or Neo Nebula eyeshadows I bet.  I sort of wish the fluidlines had been more shimmery rather than glittery like the S3/C3 ones, but I guess it would'nt scream "Holiday" if it didn't have that bling. This is always the fly in my proverbial ointment with these bags.  They always throw in a permanent item, usually one I already have, and make me do that cost benefit analysis in which I say, yeah the price is a good deal for all these products, but yeah, you sort of mathematically want to subtract the price of the perm item because its a dupe then it ends up not being such a good deal?  Maybe I should look into professional help for my OCD?  Okay, pseudoprofessional help for my pseudo-OCD...?
I love War of the Roses too! Death by stereo, hehe love it! Only Keither can make a Mullet sexy lol. Def watch Jawbreaker, the ending is actually good though. It's about these girls that play a prank on thier friend and end up killing her. It has a cameo from Marilyn Manson. Yes GD...I forgot about Neo Nebula! Damn, It's on my list again. Since MM was such a pain I'll just get more from this :nods:

Dark Dare EDES works great for setting liner - it's super black, but not sparkly. From the photo, TD&H looks like it could be more sparkly, but I don't see why it wouldn't also work well. No need to be scared of these as shadows, since they blend out so well - you could sheer it out nicely if you wanted.
I am wearing Dark Dare for the first time today (over my e/l and in the crease). Very easy to blend.

raven comes out a blackened, plummy red on me....it's not as brown as teddy, but as far as i'm concerned they're cousins....
