Get Cherry glaze...it's a nice wearable red lippie... or if u like fuschia Feeling amourous is pretty tooI could understand if they matched only certain skintones.. but i think everyone could use those lip colors... sad. I've only bought what a feeling! and don't know which other I should buy.
So pretty.....Thank you for sharingWell I bought and wore the huggable, it has sorta a slight sticky feel to it than the normal lipsticks,on the glossy / sheer to medium buildable side. And i would recommend a lipliner or maybe conceal the lip line in order to prevent it from feathering outta the lip line (it has a tendency to feather a bit). I don't mind the slight stickiness of the huggables though coz I like the colors. These are pics of the 6 colors I bought. I told myself I wouldn't get sucked in to buy any of the the huggables, but as we all know it... sighs :X I didnt plan on buying the huggables initially though :X
I'm getting these two, too. And Rusty. I don't think it's that brownish (not that I would mind). Carnal Instinct looks brown compared to it.I ordered Fresh & Frisky and Out For Passion (based on Christine and Karen's swatches/reviews) to try. They'll be great office shades.
I didn't care for Carnal Instinct - it was way too brown on me. I wore colours like that for years and have just had my fill of them. I used to love satin finishes, but now I like cremesheens. That''s why I'm hoping I'll enjoy these.I'm getting these two, too. And Rusty. I don't think it's that brownish (not that I would mind). Carnal Instinct looks brown compared to it.
I tend to go to more nudes and pinks but I realllly want to see how commotion looks on me... I need to get back to the counter.Get Cherry glaze...it's a nice wearable red lippie... or if u like fuschia Feeling amourous is pretty too
Now I can skip Rusty with peace of mindI'm getting these two, too. And Rusty. I don't think it's that brownish (not that I would mind). Carnal Instinct looks brown compared to it.
I just ordered Rusty to get it in 2013 before my low-buy kicks in.
Uh oh.
What was it I said about skipping Rusty?
Good timing!I just ordered Rusty to get it in 2013 before my low-buy kicks in.I really like this formula and just pulled 3 old lippies out to BTM. Figured it was a fair trade.
I got two Huggables delivered today; Fresh & Frisky (put that one aside for summer) and Out for Passion. I don't agree at all that the product feels thick or heavy; I was half expecting that but was pleasantly surprised. I'd say it feels more like there's lip balm on my mouth, but I really only feel it if I press my lips together. I certainly don't feel shrink wrapped.Good timing!
I'm guessing you already have some Huggables? On the one hand I'm very tempted to pick up Rusty (despite my best efforts to convince myself otherwise), on the other hand I'm worried about ending up with a YSL Rouge Volupte in MAC clothing. I have two Sheen Supremes, which I like more than I thought I would, but I still have my doubts about the Huggable formula. I came across a fair number of reviews which say the product feels thick and heavy on the lips, and for me that's a big no-no.
Btw, which old lippies did you sacrifice in The Shrine of the Huggable?
I was at Sephora today getting a Jack Black lip balm and the SA insisted I take a Bite Beauty Lip Mask. Looks thick and luscious. I'll let you know how it works. You're welcome You'll have to let me know what you think. One thing I will say right up front, the treatment oil is thick. So if you don't like anything thick and cushion like on your lips, this one won't be for you .... but if you do, you will fall in love right away. It feels as if your lips took a trip to the spa.I was planning a Sephora trip, so I will check out the Hourglass stuff. I love finding vegan products. Thanks for the tip
A few other lines that are vegan, lip related goodies are the OCC Lip Tars and the Bite Beauty line, also featured at Sephora. The OCC Lip Tars are extremely pigmented . They have a few traditional colors, but they are more known for their vivid shades of Magenta, Blue, Yellow, White, Green, Black .... you name it! Then there is the Bite Beauty product line. They are based out of Canada. The lady who came up with this line, wanted lip products that had both great pigmentation, a wide array of colors (from soft and subtle to wild and unbridled) in a number of formulations that will suit all of your needs. Not only are they gorgeous on your lips, but they are beneficial to your lips, as well! These lipsticks only contain natural and organic ingredients (organic fruit butters, Manuka honey), and each Bite lipstick is infused with resveratrol, which is an age-fighting antioxidant ... equal to five glasses of wine! She has also been featured on the Dr. Oz show. Her line continues to grow, but she is committed to sticking with lip products only. Each lipstick is still hand-poured in Canada. There are also some really cool LE color collections pretty much throughout the year. Each box from a LE color, is individually numbered with a paper seal across the top of the box. I think that is pretty darn cool! Below is an image of a few of their colors. Check 'em out.
P.S. They also have lip balms that are sheerer, if you're wanting an MLBB experience!
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend
Yes, please do. We just got the Bite Beauty Lip Mask in yesterday. I used it on a few clients. They loved it. It went right in their basket. I was going to make myself a sample and do my own little controlled study, but I totally forgot. Please let me know what you think.I was at Sephora today getting a Jack Black lip balm and the SA insisted I take a Bite Beauty Lip Mask. Looks thick and luscious. I'll let you know how it works.

The colours are semi-opaque (but buildable) and are semi-glossy and moisturizing. I like them a lot so far - great for winter and non-bold looks. I'm BTM'ing Ramblin' Rose (frost? bleah), Del Rio (old and I no longer like the formula) and what's left of Yung Rapunxel.
I looked the opposite to me. I don't have them yet though, but soon I hope. Now I can skip Rusty with peace of mind
I wanted it because I thought it looked a wee bit browner than CI. The formula doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I wanted Rusty in spite of it, just for the colour. Skippety skip!
I forgot who, but one Specktrette mentioned upthread that the Huggable formula resembled YSL Volupte Shines. Now, I don't have any Volupte Shines but I do have a Volupte (nr.27) and for me it's nothing more than an overpriced lipbalm (with the added bonus of having bright colour travelling all over my face).
Ah, the sense of accomplishment I get from skipping entire MAC collections... Such a shame it doesn't happen very often
