MAC Huggable Lipcolour Collection (December 26, 2013)

Naomi...hopefully you'll get your first one SOON so you can see if you love them. But they are all that :nods: I'm kind of surprised at how fast they sold out...bummer. 

It should be here tomorrow! I'm so excited to try it. I'm hoping to also go by counter this weekend and hopefully they still have some out then.

Great if you can see them in person. Warning though...they display tubes are GROSS! Every place I went, they were all melty & used & all over the casing

Hand swatches it is then! Lol. I'm really sad that I totally ignored them when I was up there for my PC stuff. I really hope it isn't too late or that even if it's sold out in store I can at least find it online somewhere.

Never ever swatch anything on lips, eyes or face -- unless they are virgin testers. Bacteria roam all over and there are all sorts of new breeds of bacteria (flesh eating, MRSA, virus' herpes etc.). For the price of a lipstick or other beauty item, do not risk your health.

I'd NEVER just walk in and slap anything on. I have only lip swatched a handful of things and that was only after they'd been cleaned off with alcohol. Is that not okay either?

I got 4 Huggables today! They are so nice on the lips I really really really love this formula. It's like wearing lip balm with a colour. Normally creamy lipsticks feel too slippery for my taste, but these don't. I like the see-through effect they have too. I got Touché (with a BU), Out For Passion, Love Beam and What a Feeling. I also tried on Feeling Amorous at the counter and left that on until I got home, so I have a picture with that one too. I allowed myself to only get 5 right now, but I'll go back for it. I tried to determine which colours would go first and since Touché is an amazing nude and quite popular I didn't want to risk not being able to get the BU later. I don't have a picture with What a Feeling yet, because the last picture I took was Love Beam and I don't want to take it off yet. It's so beautiful and I might get a BU of that too. Feeling Amorous Touché Out For Passion Love Beam

At my local counter these didn't look gross (yet). They were not melty or anything, but they have only been out for a couple of days here. That's why I did try them on. I had a hard time picturing how they would look on my lips from a hand swatch, because I knew my own lipcolour would show through as well. The Sheen Supremes on the other hand look very gross and melty so I never was interested. The sweet MUA that helped me yesterday showed me a Sheen Supreme tester that was fairly new and that still looked nice, so now I'm kinda interested in those too. It's too bad the testers of creamy lipsticks get so messed up, because it makes me not want to get the product.
Ow and I'm wanting Cherry Glaze thanks to your enabling and I think Red Necessity too

I was surprised to see that, besides the formula, even the tubes look like a copy of the Chantecaille lip chics! TBH, overall I prefer the lip chic colors, and they are perm, so no

I had Commotion in my shopping cart but it was gone/sold out this morning when I went to order. I called Nordies but they said it was sold out completely throughout the company. So, my Macys had 2 Commotion left so I got both & another What A Feeling

Haha perfect that you could try it on and immediately get the other! Yes FA is gorgeous, but I always buy those colours so I was trying to go with other colours this time. But the formula is so nice and makes it different from my other pinks, so I could justify it after all. The formula could let me justify the reds too and the BUs. I just hope they don't sell out too quick so I can get the BUs when I have money again. Maybe I should consider Commotion too...
