It just didn`t show on me no matter how hard i tried, I think I even swatched it for someone on the swatch thread here and you can barely see it. I `m thinking maybe a bad batch ? it looks so good on other people

thanks for the dupe recommendation, I may do that if I feel gold deficient, as it is, I have so much gold I may not need another. I have Rose Gold, Old Gold, and metallic gold pigments, Patina, Gold Mode, Gold Dusk, you name it. I guess I am a gold e/s hoarder which is shocking that I am not jumping on that Gaelic gold or the gold MES from teh Semiprecious collection. I would love to see a nice platinum shade in a starflash or VP or megametal finish however!

so I just did a look with my sultry eye palette and WOW! I was really worried after seeing the review on Temptalia, but this palette was a dream to work with. And sultry is definitely the correct term! I I used lightfully to highlight the brow, trax in the crease, festive delight in the outer vee and fun! on the lid. It is HOT! wish I could get a good photo but my phone pics aren't showing it off very well. Lol. Definitely swatch in person before counting it out Also, I used the duo fibre brush set and the white brush set to apply everything. VERY happy with these brushes! The new duo fibers are great and will be used often by me. And the quality of the brushes this year is phenomenal compared to last year's!

I ordered Wintercool Fabulously Festive Face Kit today. I know there's a lot of permanent colors in the kit, but I don't have any of these colors yet, and I'm sure I'll purchase a few of them sooner or later, so Imight as well get them now in a value set and in a special white packaging.

Karen's swatches are usually meh for me but her swatches for the cool palette have me a little excited-they look so much better than T's swatches.

I really like some of the palettes, but I mostly get them for travel convenience... so I'm wondering if the snowglobe on top will A) make them too bulky and take up too much extra room in my travel bag and B) cause problems with airport security checkpoint with the liquid in the lid! They are SO strict about the amount of liquids you can travel with in your carry on. And I ALWAYS carry on my makeup! And sticking it in the clear plastic bag (which is so small to begin with) doesn't leave me much room for my other liquids since the packaging is so bulky from the snowglobe! Ahhh! Confusion confusion. Guess I'm passing on them to be safe. But got a heafty haul from G&I so I'll be ok!

Good point. I also refuse to buy any palette with Trax, I already regret buying it once. I could get a dazzlesphere set with some lippies if I like it at the CCO. Otherwise this is a skip because I am going broke from G & I and from Daphne Guiness. Gareth Pugh, I am not so sure...

Crap. I can't remember the number exactly, but there was definitely one that I noticed had that "dirty" gold look, I believe among the shimmer finishes (possible Double Sparkle, but I'm pretty sure it was shimmer).

Hi, anyone know what would be the closest dupe for I love winter ls from mac's perm range? I realllyyy like the color but I don't find it's worth paying 50CAD for one ls as I don't really want the lipgloss or the lipliner.. Thanks!
