My skin finish came with open flaps and chipped in a couple spots (small) but now I will check for prints as I have yet to wear it

Is there any point in getting Lightscapade from the Hayley collection if you already have Def Def and have ordered both pearlmattes in the BB collection? I've never seen Lightscapade so not sure if it would be pretty much the same as one of the highlighters that I already have/will be getting soon. Thanks!

Lightscapade is perm, so you can always get it at any time. That way you can play with all your new pretties now and get Lightscapade later!

....I use all my fluidlines as bases. They are perfect!
Ya know, the fluidlines make an awesome base, so i wouldn't be surprised if she meant blacktrack.

Just a quick swatch. I'll post a better one once I get the other SF. I just had to show how pretty this is.

My edes in Extra Silver came today and sure enough it has a finger print on it. On the right hand side. I'm not too worried about it.. I like wipe it off and go on with my day, but I wasn't sure is anyone else had any issues with finger prints on eyeshadows.

I seriously doubt that these are fingerprints on the ED products, although they resemble them. The products start out as a liquid slurry, and are baked to harden them. There is no way that touching them once already hardened would produce visible fingerprints. I am leaning more towards the possibility of water marks, or possibly just the variations in the powder once dried.

They are not hard. They are baked to dry them out, but it's powder... I just went and put my thumb in the middle of this eyeshadow and gave it a good push and it did indeed squish down and leave a big print right over the "mac" debossed logo. I have several edes from the first launch and none of them have anything like this. My e/s had a half print on it, but some of these girls EDSF's had big plain as day finger prints. I just don't see how a water mark can look like a finger print with ridges.

I realize they are powder, I own quite a few of them. I don't know what you mean by they aren't hard, since they are powder, maybe you mean they have a different texture? I was just trying to explain how these are made because there may be some members who don't know the process. I'm still siding with another possibility, because I highly doubt a company as large as MAC would have employees handing cosmetic items with no gloves and for the amount of people just on this site would mean that a lot of employees in different assembling locations were improperly handing them. I am not trying to start a debate here if you or anyone else believes they are fingerprints then by all means it's your right. I am just voicing my opinion since I am aware of how the ED products are assembled.

I got my ED goodies saturday and that was some haul. It's quicker to say what I didn't get

So I didn't get Extra Silver and Dimensional Blue and the brushes cause I already had those. I was thinking about a BU of the brushes, but decided against it since it was already a huge haul. I also got Hi-Def Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil and Lip Erase. I've wanted Hi-Def Cyan for quite some time and I love it! I tried it with Heroine like suggested in one of the threads and it makes a gorgeous blue purple! I'm not sure about Lip Erase anymore after trying it on my lips. I did like it swatches, but it seems to settle into liplines and lipstick doesn't go on as nice as it normally does.
I already tried all 4 EDES and they are great! Triple Impact, Zestful and Opalesse have a transparent quality to them that makes they great for neutral looks that still have a bit of colour. The transparent quality doesn't mean not opague, it's just the finish and I think they are meant to be this way. Smokey Mauve had a different finish together with Dimensional Blue and Extra silver and was more shiny and opague. I think my favorite is Opalesse, because of the duochrome. I didn't think I would like it so much as a highlighter, but it's fantastic!
From the EDSFs I've tried STF and Double Def so far. I love Double Def as a bronzer highlight combo and STF as blush highlight combo. The darker parts are less shimmery and that makes them work as a blush/bronzer for me. I love the look of Def Def also and I can't wait to try it. The lighter part is lighter than any of the other EDSF and I was hoping for one that was lighter!
I also tried Bareness and Fiery Impact blushes. I think the blushes are less pigmented than Mac's normal powder blushes, but I'm still really pleased with them. I'm very pale, so I have no problem making them show and the finish is lovely!
