When you apply them do you make sure that your eyelids are oil-free before you put your brush on them? If your eyelids have any oil on them it might transfer to the brush and when you put the brush in the eyeshadow again it won't work well anymore. The eyeshadow also won't apply well on an oily lid. I also always use a primer like Too Faced Shadow Insurance and often a Paint Pot on top of that and it really helps with any eyeshadow.

My eyelids do tend to be pretty oily, but I always use a primer (NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base) and every other eyeshadow I have goes on fine. Once these are applied, they stay put without creasing, but it's a pain getting them on in the first place. I haven't tried them over a Paint Pot or Color Tattoo so I think I'll give that a shot next.

Zestful in particular is on the sheer side. It really does need a paint pot underneath if you want it to be a stronger, more opaque color. One thing about the EDES I've found is they do indeed go on rather patchy if you have too much on your brush. It's kind of counter-intuitive. You need to use a thin layer, spreading it on with a window wiper motion. Let it set up for a minute then apply another layer on top if you want more density. That's the best way to avoid patchiness for me, with or without a base underneath.

I pulled out my IED blushes today and wore Flaming Chic. I need to wear these blushes more often. They have such a beautiful lit from within look. Maybe it's a good thing I haven't been getting any new blushes lately. It gives me a chance to show the ones I have some much needed love.

I agree. I was afraid at first because I didn't want any products appearing metallic on my cheek but I may have to hunt all of these down.

It's odd because in the pan they appear mostly matte (in my opinion) and yet somehow they still give you a glow! Which ones didn't you get?

It's a great product, it's just that nothing can replace my beloved superb

Superb's color is beautiful - I wouldn't mind a little lower sheen EDSF collection, just for variety's sake, though!
