MAC Items Being Discontinued in 2014

Just to call it Deepest Dark is misleading as you'd think of Dark Deep figuring that they were the same thing. Not, huge noticeable difference. The new one is more yellow based whereas the old one is more red base.

Wow, that's messed up but leave it too Mac to try & switch up something, which only makes it worse. I wear dark, so I'm curious to see the difference. Glad I have b u ' s fo'real

@PIC, enjoy the luxury of those back ups. Alternate and use sparingly if you can. That's my plan. @Patricia, I think you will be pleasantly surprised and happy as they seem to have gone a shade lighter with more choices but sadly for me the deepest shade is too light and very different from the old ones. Can't wait to see and hear feedbacks from others!

The new versions launched online today in the UK, and they still seem to have Dark Deep (and Dark) as well as Dark Deepest so you might want to check whether the new one is really a replacement or an additional shade.

Ok, thanks Jenny! Will do. Fingers crossed. I did ask the SA several times to be sure but then they are asking me if a named product they are selling is a lipstick or a eyeshadow so anything is possible but I have back ups and substitutes worse case scenerio.

I don't think I am wrong but from my memory they do have the names but the colors are much lighter than the previous versions of the discontinued ones. Hope that makes sense. Want to be wrong tho. Gurus ? Help here!

I only found out about silver dusk the other day. I couldn't find it on mac's site, so i ordered it from nordstroms. I guess i'll be ordering the golden bronze from there also.
I've never used strobe liquid, only the cream (which i love). What is the difference? Am I missing anything?

Finally saw the new MSFN today but the Dark Deep that I used to use is replaced by a much lighter shade called Deepest Dark. My mom used to use Dark so I had to pick Deepest Dark for her. This means that once my extras are all gone so am I as my shade doesn't exist in the new reformulated ones.

Dark Deep is still available..I work at Mac and that's the shade I use. I just bought a new one yesterday. I'd be pissed if they replaced it with something else too

Some stores still have it! I went to a standalone store recently and they had it as do a few kiosks in The Bay.

I went to airport MAC today to see if they had any Pedro stuff left...they didn't, but the SA did tell me that Nightmoth is being DC'd!!!! :shock: A few others too... from what I could remember from the list she showed me were Boldly Bare, Oak, Stripdown, In Synch, Siss l/s, Freckletone l/s, C thru l/g all being discontinued...
