MAC Kohl Powers

Is the black base in these liners extremely obvious? Black doesn't look right on me, it's always too harsh for some reason. I really love the look of Mystery from the swatches, but I hope the black base isn't too strong if you know what I mean.

I bought three out of four of the Kohl Powers and I LUV THEM! They are butter smooth and sparkly and for dark skinned ladies (I'm NW 45) they look amazing. Orpheus is a blackened bronzy colour, Mystery is an intense blackened forest green with a hint of teal and Raven is basically Beauty Marked in pencil form. These would look amazing for the fall and the smoky eye look. Ladies get them!

I purchased Feline and Mystery and I have to say I really looooooooooove them. They are really great against my skin tone. And I am not one for eyeliner other than liquid or fluidline on my lid. I do love how they smudge really good for that perfect smokey eye. When I got home I tested them out and went to bed....and when I awoke it was still there! I do plan to go back and get the ones from the Smoke Signals collections.

I initially got Feline and Mystery and went back yesterday for Raven and Orephus. I LOVE these! Feline is the darkest black pencil I have ever seen. As dark as blacktrack on me! They are all so beautiful and unique with great staying power over paints and paint pots. I sure hope they come out with lots more colors, and I will surely buy them all!

are these being re-released? i LOVE my feline but i've used half of it up. they're quite smudgy when they're on the eyelid but if you put on some paint and then put it on, they stay put fine. if you make a bit of a mess, you can wipe and it's gone. the only thing is i'd avoid using them on the waterline, they have no staying power there.

however, these are the best eyeliners i've ever used.

I have been hoping from day one that MAC makes these permanent -- adding some new colors from time to time, too.

i have Jealous.. never used it. I dont think they are that good.. ill stick to my lancome kohl pencil! it stays put for hours and hours

You know the staying power of these weren't that good for me since my eyelids are oily (even with a base on) but that Feline is the blackest black so I had to get it.

I love these. I have Feline, Orpheus, Power Surge, Mystery and Raven. I don't use them everyday so they're not almost gone but I would love it if they were permanent. I like Feline MUCH better than Smolder for a black kohl.

i use feline on my waterline everyday, and it stays all day long. weird that yours doesn't

powersurge isn't a kohl power, its an eye kohl.

I have few of the colours as well. I have really oily lids and they seem to stay fine. They were also the prettiest colours.

I've also been trying to conserve them. Unfortunately my mum has discovered them too. So much for conservation...

I NEED MAC to bring these out again.

I am in LOVE with the Kohl Power pencils. I'm thinking that MAC will definitely bring them back for autumn/winter. I am so happy that I bought backups of feline. I wear it every day!

I had an issue with smudging on the waterline, so to make it stay put I dip a cotton bud in Too Faced Shadow Insurance (I'm sure UD Primer Potion or any other primer would do just fine) and just dab a bit along the waterline and it works a treat! I also find that I get a really sharp, clean line when I use a primer.

Sounds like I'm the only one who isn't all that impressed with these. I have one, forgot the color, but I think I don't like it because I'm not in love with the color I bought and I find it hard to draw a thin line with these for some reason. The line always comes out thick.

someone suggested using a bit of too faced shadow insurance on the waterline so i might try that to see if i can get it to stay! i think my eyes water too much.
