I just want to be excited again about mac but nothing... i did buy some products from permanent line that are phenomenal bu that's about it

So my friend said this Lightscapade is different from the old one (in the old packaging, don't know if it's different from the perm one in new packaging), more buttery in texture and also having more of a gold sheen. I saw swatches and they really do look different, this has more sheen to it, the old one looks more powdery compared to it. Needless to say, I'm getting one.

I was skipping all the face stuff anyway, and your pictures, Naynadine, have convinced me i made a good choice. I have an older Lightscapade (not the beige one) and Perfect Topping, and both work fine on my light skin. Still interested in some glosses & lipsticks and maybe the lemon eyeshadow.

I just want the mint green gloss. I own lightscapade and wear it almost everyday so if it swatches diff I might get it. Other than that not too excited.

Please Yourself and Force of Nature look really pretty in her swatches, although I'm really hoping to skip this collection as I definitely don't need any of it. Can't wait for the rest of the swatches, hopefully they'll be up when I wake up tomorrow (its 11 oclock at night here).

Thanks for the swatches! :) Perfect Topping looks so different! It's like if they had Stereo Rose in mind for the collection but ended up mixing it with Perfect Topping for a "unique" result. Tbh, I prefer the Fantasy of Flowers version of Perfect Topping. The blushes and MSFs are a skip for me.


Lol, this makes me want to skip even more just because of the gold sheen. At least the texture for Lightscapade is better this time.



Thanks for the link, Naynadine! At this point I think it's just the mint gloss and maybe a lipstick for me. All that excitement for nothing... -_-

At least we have the Ombre Blushes to look forward to, to make up for these.
