i can't wait to use it with yellows and purples.... and even brown shades! very excited for this shadow!

I finally got to my counter today. I ended up buying Style Snob (really does look like Subtle pigment on me as others have mentioned...but I don't get the comparisons to Shale that some other people have made), Fashion (a type of color I usually can't pull off but it looks pretty good) and Unbasic White (this will be a great inner corner highlight for me). I swatched Ego and couldn't get it to show up at all on my arm, so I skipped it. Also picked up another Rave pearlglide since I swapped my first one away knowing it was coming back.

Is Style Snob really that original?? In some swatches it's similar to Satin Taupe but then the purple undertones show up..I'm sucker for all things purple

I got Style Snob (LOVE!!!), Ego, Unbasic White, Fashion Groupie, Strike a Pose, One-off and Rated 'R'. The one I didn't get was 'Fashion' but I may go back. Based on the comments here I may also have to get a 'new' Grand Entrance - I love that one from last year, but if the texture has improved......oh man.

I love Style Snob too Shypo! Great haul.

Today I paired up Dreammaker on the lid with Woodwinked in the crease and Teddy liner. Some bronze lipgloss and I look totally sunkissed!

why didnt it turn out as a highlight? what is wrong with it?

yeah i thought it was just a bit too white to be used as a highlight color...I like it on the lower lid over other colors..I didnt try it as a highlight...But can't imagine using it as one on myself personally

Well, I thought it was more of a "sheer" white so it may not look so bad, but I was wrong! I tried layering Brule over it, it helped a little but not too much. However it did look good on my tearduct. I think tomorrow I will try out the combo your MA had on Tish

Tomorrow's more neutral (boring) eye will be a combo of Style Snob, Ego and Grand Entrance (and the usual Brule & Carbon) with Unbasic White in the tear duct area....can't wait to see how it turns out!

OMG yes! are you talking about NYX "Lime Juice"? I thought it looked like NYX "Kiwi" mixed with "Lime Juice". At first I said "I'll pass..." But then I thought MAC is definetly more pigmented/easy to blend so why not.

^ I agree...I have so many NYX shadows...they still do not come close to comparing to MAC & MUFE e/s pigmentation and smoothness IMO

Something must be wrong with me, I haven't picked up One-Off since I bought it. Yes, it's a pretty green...but i dunno *shrugs* maybe I'll learn to love it...

Also, I went and picked up a b/u of S&D and Strike a Pose. Which means that I ended up with:

Rated R
One-Off
Fashion
Strike a Pose (x2)
Smoke and Diamonds (x2)

Another thing, I found a drugstore dupe of Smoke and Diamonds! I was looking at IMAN's eyeshadow in Pewter ($7) weeks ago and thought that it may be very similar to S&D, but I wasn't sure b/c I had never seen S&D in person...only swatches. Well, yesterday I bought it and swatched the two together, very similar! The IMAN version is smooth and blendable, it also has a sheen but not as much as S&D. Also, S&D has a tiny bit more warmth, but you can't tell on my skin. I'll post that comparision along with the rest of my swatches later.
