Finally! Got to wear smoke and diamonds today. I was late for work so I just smudged some out some black eyeliner over it and it was flipping awesome! I don't know how I've lived w/out it.

I'm in love with Black Russian pearlglide!! I think I might need another one. Today I wore Smoke & Diamonds on the lid, Silverthorn in the crease, Divine Night in the outer V, Carbon to deepen the outer V and Hoppin' as highlight! I'm loving this combo and will experiment with it some more.

my interest is fading for this collection. i brought S&D and UBW, and thought that i wanted to go back for rated r and strike a pose. but when i went and swatched them again, i wasnt that impressed. they had built up to something special in my mind, but i felt like i had let myself when i went and looked.

yup, happens to me all the time. not sure why, but seems to happen randomly (at least once a week). if you just wait for half an hour or so, everything goes back to normal

I know what you mean, I ended up with 7 of these new starflash and I'm like meh. There are the exceptional ones like UBW, but I'm looking at a bunch of them going, what am I ever going to do with these?? I bought Fashion and Strike a Pose and am wearing them today with UBW and a little bit of Beauty Marked in the crease...very pretty, though definitely not an everyday look. And that combination is pretty much all I can think of doing with those two colors.

Maybe you clicked on the 'Display Modes' by accident. It's on the toolbar of the thread, and the normal mode is 'Linear Mode'. The others put the new post first in the thread and I don't remember what the other one do.

Meanwhile, trying to resist the strong urge to buy Unbasic White. I am going to scope out my collection and compare it to swatches - I'll bet I have reasonable dupe in my stash somewhere.

Style Snob is a must have. I got a back-up today. It's very unique and a very hard color to describe. Sometimes I see taupe with slight pink or purple. It reminds me of a darker naked lunch. It is very versatile. Today I wore it with Strike a Pose in the crease and it looked great.

I placed Fashion on the inner 3rd of my eye, Zonk Bleu! in the middle third, and SAP on the outer third. I deepened the crease with Carbon and used Unbasic White on the tear duct, and Shroom to highilight. I lined my eye with Teal-O and UD Zero. The colors blended together quite well.

Honestly - it is fantastic & I'm not really sure why. There is something different about UW. Texture & the way that it shows up on the skin.

I just recieved Strike A Pose and Fashion e/s! Both are so pretty!!! Can't wait to do a look on both of them!
UW is the BOMB!! I'm keeping one in my purse for touch-ups (along with a small pencil brush from CVS's EOB line) as my eyes water during the day in the dry-air office . I still love my Crystal Avalanche, but UW is truly unique.
I can't say enough about these shadows - I have to stop and remember the 900 other ones I have - they're missing out on the STARFLASH LUV!
