I was the ebay auction winner, the lipglass sticker was the working name of Crushed Rose and it was created in March of this year.
Since the collection is so far down the road, I'm sure the name has been changed and the product has been changed.
The l/g I have is not definitely not a stain but it's not the same description as the single l/g in the color story.
Prior to receiving my l/g there was a Ungaro collection viewing party where the invitees received products from the MAC Collection, I was told that this is where my sample came from.
Additionally, a swatched product looks different on many skintones, hence why I had to swatch on a piece of paper. I would describe the l/g as a "cherry/ berry" while on someone with a different tone would describe it as a "rose or pink".

On my screen, it looks pink on the paper, but swatched on her skin, it's a lot darker and more orange-red! And in AudreyNichole's pic from e-bay, it looks fuschia/magenta. Just found this: Direct link to post: http://specktra.net/f165/working-nam...ml#post1205153 There's also a pic of Not So Shy! in the MUA pictures gallery if you do a search for it and it definitely looks like a dark berry and not the fuschia/magenta that Crushed Rose seems to be. And whilst I don't wish to cast doubts on greatscott2000's swatches, the discrepancy just seems quite stark - part of me is wondering how a lipglass can look so different swatched on paper and skin! |
