The only word I can think of to describe the package is "Craptactular." It is very disappointing compared to the delicious Manish offerings. 0 for effort MAC design team!

I think it is graphically pleasing, but just not very Ungaro. I think they could have done a bit more with this one to make it in keeping with the Ungaro aesthetic.

Heheh Craptacular is from an old Simpson's episode (back when it was actually funny).
About the packaging, I just feel like they slapped the text on there and no thought really want in to it. They could have changed the colour of the packaging, put on some graphics, anything really.. Instead it just looks like they busted out the Letraset and called it a day lolz.. I guess it was the same for McQueen though. I just expected to see some of the designers flair I suppose.
The colours look okay but I will have to see swatches before I make my list

AHH!! =( my first post and i put it under the wrong collection!! i was thinking of the indian-inspired collection with the bright packaging and colors!! sooo sorry everyone! please forgive this Specktra newbie, MAC newbie (LOL)
Hey everyone! =) this is my very first post on Specktra (but i'm an addicted MUAer), and i just wanted to say i'm SOOO excited for this collection- practically drooling over the pics!! LOL! i just got into MAC when i started at MUA, but i've fallen head over heels for their eyeshadows!! =)

I actually really like the packaging! I thought it was veryUngaro to me. It's classy, not over the top. If you look at any promotional text or images in the boutiques, the text looks just like that. The only one I've ever been to is the Palm Beach one. Of course I didn't buy anything... lol but it was cool.

It is definitely Ungaro- I would love to get some of it, but at the moment our job situation is not good. So, at least I can enjoy the photos for now.

I've just put product pics and swatches in the swatch topic and on my blog!!! even though these are not really my colors (too light) I was pleasantly surprised by the lipglass, the eyeshadows and the beautypowder!!

Thanks Tinkerbelle! My wishlist has grown! I definately want all 3 e/s now, the beauty powder, the pale pink l/s and l/g and probably the paint pot. I need to start playing the lottery!

thats my list too except add the browset and that c-thru lip color I do not have those...I wish Dillards counters were getting this so I could try it in person....
