So CCB ladies, how do you plan to use them? I have never tried them before, but the bright pink one is SO pretty! I just don't know how often I'd use it

I'm somewhere between a NW15 and a NW20 and this shows up lightly -- but in a good way. I have slightly pink cheeks already, so I never want to put too much colour on them.

This isn't for those who like a lot of colour on their cheeks.

My MA told me I have to have the pink CCB

And she knows I usually know what I want and doesn't talk me into any products that aren't on my wishlist.

I will wear it with the 187 (

) as a blush. The other one would be great as a highlighter on the cheekbones.

Well... its embarassing but i totally printed out pics of this collection and manish as well and put them in my serving book--- and it worked! I made $170 last night.. I only needed $64 more for my bills this month- and I still have 4 more shifts to work! WHOO HOO!!! So I totally have $106 already to put towards manish and ungaro... im sooooooooo excited!! BRING ON THE PASTEL ROSE!!!!!!!!!

Now I hope I dont make like $30 tonight at work- that would be a bust.. crossing my fingers biiiiig time for some mad cash!

All I wanted was the paint pot and BP, so I'm annoyed about the paint pot getting axed. I only have Perky and Nice Vice PP, so Essential Beige was the only one that appealed to me both in color and finish. I guess MAC just saved me money for once! Yeah right, I'll just buy another liner from Suite Array instead.

I've taken into the fact that there is likely to be no pp. Instead, I'm getting more excited after seeing the swatches. Maybe I'll get Crushed Bougainvillea, Soft Flower and Flower Dew Mist.

I agree....this collection is just not speaking to this NW15 girl. The coral eyeshadow is nice, but when I compare it to what I want from Manish and the Holiday Collections? Well...I'll live vicariously through all the Ungaro FOTDs sure to pop up at the end of the month.

I am kind of having second thoughts about the shadows too. I have to see them in person. I think I am still going to get the coral one and the purple one (if it is special) but I will be passing on Ploof and Mineral. I just got the Tempting quad, and with Dark Edge, I am satisfied since I don't wear browns all that much. I really like the pink CCB, but I don't know what I would do with it. Pure Rose and Pastel Emotion are still on the list. They aren't budging

I don't even remember seeing Phloof... was that the 4th eyeshadow... I didn't even look at it.

Anyway, I bought the pink and brown shadows only because I love pink and brown and they were new... but once I got home and tried them... I really love them! And the blush matches so nicely, in a pale, pretty way. This is almost a spring collection in my mind, good thing it's still really warm here.

Meryl, can you recall if the purple shadow was anything like Memorabilia e/s? I know there was some talk about it being the same shadow, renamed. Do you think it is unique? Or is it similar to other purples? And how is the texture of these shadows? Sometimes mattes give me trouble, so that's another reason I am hesitant...

Audrey, are these all matte shadows? I think I'm passing on these now too. Or I'll get everything else first and if these are around in a week or two maybe I'll get them then. (if this collection is very limited I doubt they will be though)
I'm bummed about that paint pot. That's what intrigued me from this collection originally.

Edit: Ah, I see they are satin and the coral one is matte.

I just spoke with the Dallas Pro Store and was told the New Release Date is Oct 2nd on this one.
I was so disappointed as I wanted it this week. : (

It was very similar to Memorabilia, now that I think about it. But why would MAC re-promote a colour they brought back from Originals which was just last Christmas? It must be a little different... ?

I don't care for mattes either, especially since the matte2 are so much better, but this one is nice. Really subtle on me. (I like subtle... )

Oh well, you'll save your money for the next collection!
