Audrey, Soft Flower is matte, and Sushi Flower has shimmer, so it looks quite different. Also, Soft Flower has a bit more of a coral tone to it.

Yea I think some counters didn't get the memo that it should be held back and they just put it out...I wish mine had! I don't understand if they've already got it why they don't just let us have at it and the counters who didn't get it should just be late...i dunno.

Saw it at my freestanding today. It's very pretty, but just seems odd for Fall. I did pick up Lilac Touch though. I hope it shows up on my NC40 skin. I might also pick up Soft Flower which is also very pretty.

^^^ Lucky! Even my friend who works for MAC in a different state than mine said it's not out at her counter til Oct 2! I'm jealous of everyone who's already got their hands on it!

Perhaps the colours in this collection are more aimed at some of the international countries who are in spring and heading into summer?

It's 30 degrees celcius here today

Soft Flower is barely showing up on me. I think partly because it is a matte.

It was at my freestanding today. I picked up the Beauty Powder which is absolutely amazing. The texture is soft and silky and the color's really pretty on my NC15 skin. I was shocked they actually had it but they said it was selling pretty well.

Hey girl! I'm still skipping SA. Even after seeing it in person... I was proud of myself. But as far as Ungaro.... Something about this delayed release date has made me rethink a few things which is good. Saves me $$! I decided to skip the Beauty Powder and the Mineral e/s. The Beauty Powder is pretty, but it seems like something I would never use. It's too close to my Benefit Dandelion which is really pigmented and smells yummy. So I don't think that I would reach for the BP much when I have the Dandelion already. As far as the Mineral...I'm pretty sure Mystery would be a good dupe because it's a cool almost plummy brown. So it's not worth it. But I AM getting the Lilac Touch, Soft Flower, Pure Rose, Pastel Emotion, and the Not So Shy lippies.

So I've stayed hopeful...but for those who have seen the collection in the US IN PERSON.... We're pretty sure there's no paint pot huh?

I have tried to find stores that just happened to put it out, but no luck...my sister stopped in Seattle tonight traveling here and I made her go to both the MAC store and Nordy's - both said Oct 2. Then my friend who I said works for MAC in CO said Oct 2 and of course none of the counters here have it. haha I guess I'm just gonna have to wait a few more days!

I'm so excited for this! I know it's more spring colors but that coraly pink e/s will get me through any season! Have I ever mentioned how much I love corals?

You're right, they are lighter, but the colors are absolutely gorgeous..I think I need an eyeshadow or two..

but they're good enough color selections to be used all year round.

I absolutely loveeeee the BP. Its showed up way better on me than alpha girl.

also, flower mist dew looks similar to Blooming blush from CoC in the pan.

or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me?

No paint pot. They did have two cream blush colors though.

They're really similar but the BP is more pink where CoC blush has a slight plum to it, IMHO. The powder's matte, and the blush has a shimmer. It showwed up great on me, too
smiles.gif

Okay, stupid question - what's the difference between a blush and the BP? I can only use this as a blush, since it's pink, and I'm pale, but in general. What's the difference?

To me, it's really just a difference in formula and pigmentation. The blushes are much more highly pigmented, whereas beauty powders are softer, lighter, more finely milled and more sheer / subtle. Depending on the color, you can use them for other purposes (i.e. Smooth Harmony for contouring / bronzing), but I basically use them for the same essential purposes as a blush, just where I want a much lighter, more subtle effect. I wear Alpha Girl and Smooth Harmony on a daily basis, since as a boy I often want to define certain things or add a little color and not really look like I'm wearing makeup.
