MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

Okay, I'd like to see side by sides of some of these eyeshadow colours with the Amazon palette, from Raquel.

Also, I wonder how pale that pink lipstick is, because if it's too pale, my thin little WASP(C) lips completely disappear, but a slightly darker colour, like Embraceable, looks really pretty on me. I think I'll have to skip at least the lipstick, because I have about a half dozen lipsticks I've ordered online and said, "oops, too pale."

But that purple eyeshadow, I'd love to see how it compares to Memorabilia, the Heatherette one, Roustabout, etc. I love these kinds of purple, but I'm thinking this is the only one that rouses my interest. I'm actually hoping it's the same hue in a lighter value, otherwise, I have enough.

I may cave and get it later. Maybe I just need to hear more opinions before I make up my mind?

My opinion? Don't get it... Save your money, eat a popsile/lolipop and voila! you have a stained lip! haha... Or you can even wear a really bright red lipstick, dab it off and there, you have stained lips.

I didn't like the look on me, I thought it was "ok" not a must have.

The Pure Rose lipstick is very pale, although I don't know if pale is the right word since the color payoff isn't huge. It's sort of like a non-sticky lipgloss, it's mostly just shine and a little frosty pink. It looks gorgeous on my best friend's thin lips, but hers are very highly pigmented so it doesn't totally wipe them off her face.

I only bought pure rose lipstick. I think that I have am sick or something because I bought nothing from Suite Array or Creamsheen and now just one thing from Ungaro. What it wrong with me!?! Am I actually using some restraint? Nope I think that I have just gone crazy!

Don't worry about it. I've been experiencing the same thing, I don't really plan to get anything from Red she said, Manish Arora, Cremesheen, Gold Fever, Mineral line,...I was going to pass Ungaroo too, but I'd love to have Pure Rose lipstick.
Just hang in there, I'd say it happens from time to time

Use the 109 brush for cream blushes! Its perfect. I also use the 109 for loose mineral foundation. Thanks TDoll

I use the 188 to apply Cream Colour Bases as a blush. Perfect for me!

I am lovin’ Lilac Touch but its not the easiest color to blend (this seems to happen often w/purple e/s and Purple Haze is the worst); what do you guys think about it?

For these particular CCBs they only mention lips and cheeks:

"A Cream Colour Base shaded exclusively for the Ungaro Fall ’08 runway look designed by top international makeup artist, Sharon Dowsett. Creamy and colour-intense. For use on lips and cheeks. Featured on its matte black compact: a repeat pattern of the Emanuel Ungaro logo in signature pink and a silver M·A·C logo. Limited edition."

I happen to buy a 188 today!

I was shopping because the departmental store was having a sale. I hanged out at the MAC counter, hoping to find Suit Array and Ungaro, but they were not there. I have been thinking about 188 after seeing it at the Mineral Line Displayer thread. All ready for crushed bougainvillea!
