Thought I wasn't getting anything from this one, as I'll be busy with Cindy Sherman and Glitter and Ice. But now I MUST have Lady Grey quad and Dark Envy. My fluidline collection is very deficient in greens!

Theres more swatches of the shadesticks. Moleskin is off my list and Equilibrium Blush + Butternutty is on! Well depending on how they look on me in person.

She says there are 4 shadesticks, but I believe there were supposed to be 5 - she hasn't shown Tundra.

How close do we think Dark Envy Fluidline is to Bobbi Brown Ivy Shimmer Ink Longwear Gel Liner? I can't remember off hand how black based the BB one is, the MAC one looks beautiful.

Still wondering if Moleskin is similar to UD Naked. It's a maybe for me.
I'd like to see Equibrillium on a face swatch. I'm hoping it's one of those subtle contouring blush. If it is, then I'm getting that.

Most likely the 226, if it's still available when I visit the MAC store (not queuing in front of it just to get this one )

I'm passing all the l/g and l/s for now, unless I found a color that I'd absolutely would love to have.

If it isn't exactly the same, it looks so close that it makes no difference.

Lady Grey certainly looks much richer in pigment than the initial photos let on. So I'm definitely leaning towards that.

Is it just me, or does OhOhOh (am I the only one who thinks of Santa Claus?) look a lot like a more muted version of ... O? O is one of my favourite lipsticks ever, so I'm not objecting, but this one does look like it's in the same range. And Social Light looks exactly like one of the glosses from Fabulous Felines last year.

Runaway Red is the exact bright blue-red I wanted it to be. I swear I have more reds than anyone needs, but this one is definitely coming home...

Avenue is meh compared to what I was hoping. Black + gold shimmer = muddy brown.

and yes, avenue is really greasy muddy... O___o disappointing, I hoped for a gorgeous black/gold

Ooooh, liking the Lady Grey Quad and Runaway Red...pretty!

Do the shadows in the quads come out or are they fixed? I've never been blown away enough by a quad to find out.

This is exactly what I was thinking! Lol I even got my Bobbi brown out next to the computer screen to compare lol! I think the BB is much more black based! Dark Envy is still on my list!

I may have to check out the shadesticks in person before deciding. What I tend to do is order the stuff I know I'll love online at the launch, then check out the stuff I'm not sure about at my local Mac store.

I worry about the frostiness/metallicness of the shadesticks - I'm almost 47 and my eyelids aren't as smooth as they once were. Too much shine and they look like crumpled tinfoil ::sigh::.

Thanks for the links! I think I can skip Stunner as it probably won't show up on me! I've limited my self to 2 lipsticks (Offshoot and Oh Oh Oh) so hopefully Karen's and Temptalia's swatches don't tempt me otherwise!

So far from the swatches, I'm not very impressed. Since I have so much makeup, I'm very picky as to what I buy now, and the Lady Grey quad isn't speaking to me. There are other companies that make much better quality eye shadows then those, that are pigmented. I hope the rest of the collection isn't a complete let down, but then again my wallet would be thanking of me!

IMO the lady gray quad has been created for not so young people (such as the woman in the promo pictures).. colors are not matte but soft and also the name "lady gray" makes me think about a mmm old classy woman! I could like quad for me anyway^^ but still not sure!
