I totally agree about the photoshopping. Although I think Mac's doing better than other brands, representing more diversity, they could have done even better. Especially because this is not a regular campaign. Waiting for Patentpolish swatches as well. Karen's look super sheer and many shades look very similar. I wonder how they turn out on not-so -pigmented lips. In case they're still similar, I'll pick up just one.

Trying to figure out what's what on the web site is driving me f*ing bananas

It says "Shop The Collection", then takes you to a page with part of the collection. I click on an item, which sure seems to be clickable, and the individual photo does NOT load.

Well, i wasn't planning to buy from the website. I'll be at my local MAC bright and early on the 1st with my long long long shopping list. Damn this collection! So many purples!

Anyway, the older white woman with the lavender eye-shadow - i think that's the paint pot Nice Composure. It *says* it's grey, but every swatch i've seen on a bunch of different websites and skin tones, it looks lavender. I mean, yeah, they probably tricked it up with other products, but that could be the base.

And besides Photoshop careful lighting can also reduce wrinkles. That's crap what they did to her. Ilamasqua did a collection with older women and younger ones, and the older ones looked their age, but amazing and glamorous. MAC - you should take a lesson from them.

And dammit i can't find people's names, but the Korean woman... she looked so much better BEFORE they smeared all that red stuff all over her face.

Can ya tell I like berries? Flash and yellowish lamp to get better lighting and hopefully cancel each other out. The shades aren't 100%, but I think the differences are pretty accurate. I did tiny dabs of Sugared Maple and Barberry around FR. On my lips it is more different than swatches, but not SO much. Barberry is more purple than it appears here.

I sure can. I love berry matte lipsticks too.

I received my first order from this collection, I LOVE Deep Love I immediately backed it up. Its perfect for fall. A little lusty is super pretty I have to remember to use a light hand. I like Diva Antics as well. Its not unique at all though. Im sure i have a few dupes.

About to order Strutting Fabulous the eye shadow palette now. This is my first MAC eye shadow purchase (I've been mixing from a few different Urban Decay palettes for a while), so I hope I love it! Just need to decide which patent polish to get... I want to get the set of them that is coming out in the holiday collection but these colors all look so great!

Looks gorgeous! I can't wait to hear your thoughts. I was deciding between this and Morning Light. Morning Light won for the moment, but I may check this one out in person...I was unsure since there were several light shades and a couple seem pretty similar to each other.
