Yowzers!

I hope it pulls as much brown on me as well. In this pic it reminds me of a darker (and possibly a bit browner) Guerlain Gisela. Love it!

@GoldenGirl you look fab!!!!!
Thank you!

I am really liking this collection. And here I was about to go on a no buy! LOL! I would have missed out.

But really tho... the low-buy has begun. Hoping I can stick with it until that Flowery collection comes out.

I adore the MN collection, really I've loved everything from it with the exception of the EDES. The e/s are fine, but $20 for that pot is just too much. I bought three--sh, aa, and sd--which is $60 worth of shadow for three colors. I can get a high end quad, or some massive naked3 type palette for that kind of price.

I think I can get a good glowy lid look going with some cream and gel e/s I already have--no, the colors wouldn't be the same, but the effect would have been roughly similar.
Thank you for your feedback! I don't think I can justify buying them.

Selfies are HARD!
Here's me today. Silver Dawn on the lid, Amorous Alloy in the crease, a little Embark in the outer V, and... I think I used Arena as a highlight. I usually just use my skinfinish because I'm not into highlighting the brow all like that, especially because I'm just going to work. PLEASE excuse the brows, I am growing them out and hating them every morning with the fire of a thousand suns. They disappoint me and make me want to cry.

Magnetic Appeal as a highlighter above the blush. It's very subtle but I do like it. And Sensual Sparks with a brown liner, some random one I got from Sephora. Initially I wasn't feeling it because I like to just swipe on a lipstick and go, and this one needs a liner FOR SURE. I like it now, it's very... cute!

You ladies look so beautiful wearing your MN items!

I just posted a review on my blog for the Our Secret Fluidline, the link is in my signature!
I included a EOTD and swatches with other brown eyeliners/eye pencils.

Love your blog! It looks so good on you! And I am jealous of your perfect eyeliner. What brush did you use?

I am loving the fluidline review, Pretty Kitty. Thanks!

@erine1881 Is it bad for a MAC brush to be cleaned with eye makeup remover? I have on one occasion swiped clean my 208 angled brush on a q-tip with a little eye makeup remover to soften the hardened fluidline and wiped it clean on a tissue before using it. It was quick and convenient...then I realize maybe it's bad for the brush?

LOVE IT!

Initially my brush wasn't picking it up and I was like OMG it's a dud, but I'm so used to powder shadows I kind had to use a little more pressure to pick up the pigment since it's a different consistency. Which I actually really like.. it reminds me of a cream to powder. And the best part? No fallout. :)

Love it on its own, it's all silvery with a really nice but not overdone shimmer. I'm going to try it over different bases, see if I can get the brown in it to pop more.

You enabler you. LOL!

Oh yes, there are plenty of bases you can use. I agree it's not as metallic as some of the others but I think that is what I like most about it.

Thanks! :bouquet: Can someone convince me that the EDES are really worth the price tag? I don't have any but IIRC MAC decided to make the pans smaller this time around. Is the formula really that great? Is it comparable to any other MAC finish? I plan on going to the mall soon to pick up some other things from this collection and want to know if I should cave for AA and/or SH. TIA
If they were the larger size like they the last round, i wouldn't have hesitated to buy a couple of colours. But like I've before, i refuse to pay $20 for a small shadow, especially when mac has/will sell the exact same thing in a larger size for the exact same price in a few months.

If it was just a one time thing, it won't harm the brush. However, if it's done multiple times, depending on the ingredients in the makeup remover and the brush hair fibres, it can damage the hairs and cause them to break off. But it's technically not cleaning the brush, it's just removing the product, which isn't same thing. And it doesnt sanitize the brush either. Proper brush cleansers clean, sanitize and condition the hairs, keeping them soft and conditioned so that they maintain the shape and don't fray out, which will help the shape of the brush continue to perform its proper function. So just to be safe, i like to keep a smaller bottle of brush cleanser on my vanity for when you need it real quick. And when I'm doing my makeup, i always have a tissue on my lap and wipe the brushes on the tissue when I'm done with them before putting back. That way you remove any makeup residue from them for when you use them the next day (especially handy for gel eyeliner brushes so you don't have hardened product the next day).
