Eeeek I am so excited for this collection! I'm only just getting into MAC collections, so I've never had a LE MSF before, but I love soft and gentle so I want to collect :eyelove: I'm going to get superb and fairly precious, and wait for the US people to put up swatches then maybe magnetic appeal as well, depending on how tan it is - nothing worse than a too dark highlight looking like shimmery dark cheekbones lol! Then probably just Close Contact l/s, as long as it doesn't look too light on similar skin tones (NW40)

Personally for the blushes I liked the split fiber not the duo fiber. I like duo fiber for mineralize products.
I like the split fiber brushs too. I don't really used the smaller 235 all that often, but I use my 128 every day. It's super soft and silky. I love it.

I just found At Dusk and Bareness on French Evilbay - VERY EXCITED! I hope I don't love bareness as much as At Dusk because at least I can back up At Dusk come December :)

That's how my Whisper of Guilt is! It's hit pan so bad. I use it pretty much every single day. I got one backup, but after seeing how long they last with daily use, I am more selective, because basically the rest of my supply will be a lifetime supply at this point!
This Whisper of Guilt is from the original release in 2012, so I mean, this has lasted me well over a year and there is still tons in that pan. I know I should really clean out the packaging because it's totally gross looking.

if I ever hit pan on something like that.... my hubby will put it in a time capsule.....

I've had the worst luck with these blushes.... there's a film on the blush that never seems to go away... i have scratched the hell out of my flaming chic one and the film keeps forming :(

A tip for using the blushes....(from Erine)
You have to rub the top layer off with a qtip first to get the "plastic" film off first. Them the colour will be accessible with any brush.

Thank you both! I think I could be in deep doodoo here on this collection b/c I want all the EDSF & all the EDB! + 2 of the fluidlines + probably the Silver dawn EDES. How can I pass up mauve + taupe? And the name is killer!

These are picky. Only use a clean dry brush. Do not double dip like blush face then blush again. Any powder will jack it like that.

Random question, but I have been eyeing the split fiber brushes for a while and have been wondering what effect is achieved by them compared to the whole synthetic or whole natural hair brushes, could you explain?

Ok, the 128 is smaller and more dense than say, the 129. You can certainly apply powder blushes with both of these, but I don't really like using the 128 for this simply because I prefer the way longer bristles of the 129. The 129 fans out and gives a nice wash of color, where the shortness of the hairs in the 128 make a smaller section of more concentrated color. If that makes sense? But, the same reason I don't like it for powder, I do like it for cream blushes. For me, it's much easier to blend out a cream blush with the short dense fibers of the 128. I also like it for the Extra Dimension Skin Finishes. The duo fiber brushes like the 187 and 188 give a very lovely soft wash of color, and that's great with a skin finish that's a bit darker, but the 128 allows me to get a slightly heavier application of something like whisper of guilt, and I can blend it out nicely. I don't have any of the ED blushes, but If they apply like the Skin finishes and the eye shadows, I bet the 128 would be a dream with those a well.

Here is a picture of the 128 and my 129se side by side (the 128 is still a bit damp from it's bath but you get an idea of the size difference.)
