That's what happened to me online at macys, twice! In the end I ended up with 5 STF!I want order def def off of Bloomingdales site but it is labeled wrong. I'm afraid I'll get another Shape the Future.

"Hoarding" is such a bad word lol We just dont want to run out of things we like. It can be disontinued or impossible to dupe. I consider it normal lol

I consider it perfectly normal to have a few extra backups of items I love however I sometimes still find it uncomfortable to post . I think you can appear abnormal amongst folks that share your passion. I know that I have a strong tendency to go way overboard. I can never ever post in the how many back up threads. I would be sent to make up junkie hell or Make-up Anon! My hauls would be realistic and so much less expensive if I didn't have a back up compulsion that leaves me feeling incomplete. I am really working hard on that plus price increases and other obligations are making the decision for me.

I try not to haul too much and I try not to get similar products, unless there is a reason (different formula that I prefer). When I see myself going overboard I look at my collection and I realize I have enough for a long time, so I hold back (a bit). I haven't bought any back ups yet because I have realised that the next collection is round the corner and I have so many items I may never finish the first one, or when I do there'll be something different that tickles my fancy, lol. But it is HARD not to hoard, I'm a collector type of person so it's easy to start a collecting fever. I think what helps is that I insist on using everything and I want to finish the products! There's nothing wrong with spending our hard earned money on whatever makes us smile and happy!!

This! I too tend to "collect" things: be it all the books by an author I like or any red lipstick I run into! I am too trying to curb my impulses as I could not buy make up for a long time and I would not suffer for lack of it

I'm sure that many of us mac-addicts are natural collectors, it's obviously a psychological thing. I've collected other things in the past, and they tend to be weird (for other people's standards, hehee)
