Think I'm skipping all of the lip products. Want Superb and the peach edsf and At Dusk edb, n maybe the coral rose one. And It's Physical f/l. Still iffy on two of the edes's

Not much here for me thank goodness. Maybe Morning Rose, but probably not. It's similar enough to one of my Clinique Chubby Sticks. I wanted Close Contact, but peach in the m/u world is so light and not at all what I imagine peach to be in the real world.
I'm now saying no to the blushes b/c I haven't enjoyed the two EDB I have - Flaming Chic and Blazing Haute. Both seem ashy on my cheeks w/ BH looking slightly dirty. I know liba said to try them w/o a base product (and I might before I ditch them), but complexion is my priority and if I was skipping foundation I wouldn't reach for blush. Liner, yes. Blush, no.
The only things left on my list were the EDSFs. I have Superb and was going to list it for sale after using it twice, but y'all were raving about it in this thread so I've tried it about 3 more times and I dunno. What blush shades does it compliment? I mostly own NARS, but the MAC blushes I have are: Modern Mandarin, Hidden Treasure, Ripe for Love, Style, and Small Vanity. (I found a brand new The Perfect Cheek in a box in my solarium last weekend. I thought I got rid of that? Also found a Small Vanity b/u. *shakeshead*) I'd like to see swatches of the other two EDSFs. I want to get rid of my Definitely Defined though before I buy new shades. Attempt to be a little bit practical.
I'd actually get better pigmentation out of the EDBs over foundation than on bare skin! They look really natural that way. The ones that always seem to always look better on me on bare skin are the Mineralize blushes. 'Love 'em both more than the standard powder blushes!

Oh, am I mistaken? I thought you'd commented about using the EDB on bare skin before.

Ugh, just went back and read. No idea how I completely misunderstood your post.

no worries - my big problem is always getting waaaaaay too detailed and long and complicated with everything, so I'm not surprised I get all confusing.

Although, if you haven't had much luck with the EDBs over foundation, you might as well try it over bare skin to see if it behaves better. Some of these newfangled formulas sure do require a lot of experimentation to get them at their best.

I've had no problems with blush lol I used to wonder if people wanted their blush looking like T's blush swatches or something LOL but I guess some have major pigment issues? I use the stiff I think 129? Brush it's stiff dense and big ish.. That sucker has yet to meet a blush it can't pick up lol

Strangely enough, It's Physical, the purple/brown f/l is still what I'm most excited for - it's an amazing color and I'm going to love using it subtly in the brows.

I'm probably going to resist the eye shadows, although Amorous Alloy and Silver Dawn are tempting - I probably have dupes, especially for AA.

'Same goes for the lipsticks - I definitely have colors that are so similar, even in the same finishes. I'd rather get a couple of the Huggable nudes and MLBBs instead.

The blushes I'm grabbing for sure and at least Fairly Precious - I don't need a second Superb and Magnetic Appeal may not be the right shade for my skin.

There are a couple of glosses that are just my kind of colors, but I already have some similar shades, so we shall see...

All in all, it's a great collection if you hadn't gone wild with Apres Chic, like I did, since the colors are very similar for a lot of things.
I too am hankering after It's Physical f/l. By any chance do you have Added Goodness f/l? I have been wearing it lately, and they look quite similar to me, although I haven't seen It's Physical in person.. Any thoughts?

I've got Added Goodness (love it!), but It's Physical is nothing like it. First off, IP doesn't have any shimmer or sparkle or sheen at all. It's darker than Added Goodness, but it's not blackened! It looks like a more deep mauve purple version of Past Twilight f/l from the holiday Nude eye bag, which is very brown. It's just the best purplish brown color that's not too warm or too cool. It's going to look amazing tight lining the eyes, in the waterlines, smudged, or used lightly in the brows if you have darker hair. I'm going to back it up for sure.

Sounds awesome! I did want the Nude eye bag but cream paint pots crease on me no matter what I try so I decided to skip it. So great to get an even better version of Past Twilight. Btw, I also have Added Goodness and I love it as well. :)

I think you have to be pretty fair in complexion to get these to work. I got At dusk, Fiery impact and blazing haute in the mail last night. I swatched on my arm and they were very lightly pigmented. I'm an NW13 and I don't usually have any troubles with blushes being too light for me to use. I'm going to try them out today with a brush, but I felt like I couldn't get product to pick up. I might try running a cotton swab over the tops, as suggested, and see if that helps. The colors are gorgeous, I hope I can get them to work for me. :)

I use the 129 with mine too - I find using a slightly stabbing motion rather than just sweeping the brush across the product works best with these (that saves me feeling like I need to wipe off the film every time I use it). I've had no problems with pigmentation that way.

I agree. I completely skipped all of the ED blushes the last time they came out because none of them showed up on my skin at all when I swatched the testers. It was such a shame because there were a few colours that I quite liked.

I do this too, but with the 116 and I don't have any problems with pigmentation.

I have no trouble getting Fiery Impact to show up with my 129. It has a really nice finish - I haven't worn Early Morning since I bought this one.

Same here! The 129 is my favorite brush. Period! ;) ED blushes just tend to take a little work when you first get them because of that shiny layer they have. Once that's gone they are perfect!

I have great expectations for Pleasure Model blush. I think it may be the most perfect of all the EDB so far for deeper skintones. Just hope it doesn't disappoints!
