MAC mascara: best & worst?

I was planning to get a mascara and i have heard good & bad about mac mascara.

I am looking for something that lengthens my lashes and maybe a little volume.

Mac Zoomlash mascara is good for lengthening but to be honest mac mascaras really just aren't anything special and you can get comparable and even better mascaras for alot cheaper. Though I do have to admit that their Plushlash mascara is very good I think you should try Maybelline's colossal lash mascara. I love that stuff.

I like Zoomlash for length and Plushlash for the 'fat lash' look.

Favourite by far is Plushlash. (I use this instead of Diorshow... not *quite* as good but gives the same kind of effect). Every other MAC mascara I've tried has been a bit 'meh'.

I really don't like MAC mascaras at all. I have straight eyelashes and they really don't curl them even after curling them with a curler. I love Diorshow.

The Best: Plushlash

The Worst: Dazzlelash

If you need thickening: Fibre Riche is great.

Lastly, I can't stand Zoomlash. Don't know why anyone would like it.

Me too. Mine curl, but often the mascara weighs down the curl and it disappears.

You HAVE to try Tarte's Lash Stain. It is amazing! It holds the curl better than anything I have tried and I have tried them ALL.

I like Mascara X. But I don't buy MAC mascaras on a regular basis.

Yea Mascara is one of very few MAC products I all around dislike.

I have crazy lashes - so I use a TON of it - I splurge on the Covergirl mascaras - theres the big thick Orange tube and the skinny Purple one. These are my best friends and you can get the 2 pack for 9.99 at Target. I feel that I save so much in this area that I can splurge the little extra at MAC now

best Plushlash!!!!!!..little work big difference! volumizes and lengthens, love.

worst: zoomlash...lots of work, can look good for lengthening, but there are definite better options.
