No, it should be gold.

My trainer said that the Update site would get updated on like October 15th. Maybe he was mistaken and meant November 15th! I hope so because that's as long as I can wait I think.

Kinda... the compacts are gold and the MAC logo is firey reddy gold. The letters are designed so they are merged together rather than next to each other. The whole marketing around it is all gold, luxurious, futuristic - honestly, not far from YSL packaging.

In the UK it will be only available online and in Harrods - our trainer explained why MAC has exclusives:
These collections are directed at the MAC addicts, the ones who are real die hard fans who want to feel special that they have got their mits on a really hard to get, LE collection that not many people wil have.

See, MAC cares THAT much

I didn’t get any brushes from the 2006 collection ‘cause I didn’t like the square handles. But I bought 2007’s lip brush, 129 and 2 – 224 brushes. Talk about luxurious! Wow! So with talk of the gold coloring for this year’s collection, yeah, I’m getting both brushes! I wonder if they're metal like last year's brushes.

And I no longer have to go back and forth on whether to buy the Mystery Powder – THIS IS MY HG POWDER of all TIME. Since the packaging is gold, I’ll get 1 compact even though I purchased several of last year’s powders through damsel (CCO) and GBNF.

Finally, to my surprise Turquatic Heat is in the collection…..I can’t believe it! I bought it this year during the 15% off sale and loved it so much! My husband does too. It sold out so quickly and I wasn’t able to get any more. But this time I’m getting 2!

MAC does not sell re-fills of any of their powders, but you can always de-pot any compact and place the insert in the couture compact. I wish we could depot a MSF and insert it in the couture compact -- it seems to be deeper than normal compacts. I'm thinking about trying it with my flattened natural MSF...hmmmm....Thoughts?

I believe that MSFs are not on the standard metal pan like many of MAC's products, and as such depotting will not work.

they aren't selling it like they did this summer. for $70 you get 15ml of air of style and 15ml of turquatic heat. you can't buy them separately or in full size.

you're correct. MSFs CAN NOT be depotted. no ifs, ands or buts about it. no way, no how.
