I caught a glimpse at the collection. Overall I wasn't too wowed. I didn't swatch the lip colors, I just saw them in their tubes. I also didn't try the salve. Here is my brief breakdown:
LIPGLASS
Buzz - Deep warm coppery chocolate color. Again, not too different that similar shades you have seen before.
Honey Bee - Very pretty peachy/coral lipglass. Kind of the lipglass version of Pollinator
She's a Star - Reminiscent of every other beige/ivory shimmery lipglass you have seen from MAC.
EYESHADOWS
Buckwheat - Smooth in texture, nicely pigmented. Reminds me of Magnetic Fields from Neo Sci Fi
Pollinator - Nicely pigmented. I can't think of anything similar. I have been hoping for a color like this. It's the perfect coral in a satin finish (not sure if that's the official finish).
Creme de - Gosh, I can't even remember what this was like.
HIGHLIGHT POWDERS
Honey Light - This is a warm cappuccino shade that's about 1/2 - 1 shade deeper than my skin so it almost disappeared. It went on really smoothly with a very soft shimmery, almost satin finish.
Golden Nectar - Loved this. It was kind of unique looking. The shimmery overspray reminded me a lot of Solar White/Cloudbound but it was more yellow in tone. I really liked this on my skin. It was a beautiful golden yellow with some peachy tones. Very pretty, subtle highlight.
Body Cream - This was very rich and felt great when I applied and rubbed it into my skin. It wasn't greasy at all and absorbed really quickly. The honey scent is also really soft and pleasant.
SCENTS
Africanimal - WHEW!! NO! This smelled like old school musky cologne that your grandfather might wear or have worn. You should have seen the bewildered look on my face.
Naked Honey - This was really pretty. It's soft, floral and a little sweet. It instantly made me think of the summer and running around in the sun.
